Sitting on watch, the man scanned the entire town. Half hoping to see the girl with whom he had fallen for. There was no denying it any longer. Her image never leaving the soft, though darkened depths of his mind.
There was neither a breeze that day, nor were there clouds in the sky. It was almost as though a perfect beam of light hit the girl as she emerged from the guild that afternoon.
His eyes widened as she fixed her hair and pulling her sleeve down. His heart ached as she played with her necklace.
Why can't I have her... his thoughts kept buzzing around his head. The thoughts of her in his arms, his lips to hers...it was almost excruciating.
Still dazed, the man didn't noice as his pink haired comrade sat next to him. She laughed at him, making him jump. "How are you doing?" She nudged him in the arm.
He left out a quick breath. "Like I'm going to explode." His hand rached around his stomach to grab his arm. His face adopted a soft color of pink.
His friend laughed hard, making his face darken. "Stop torturing yourself! Just go up to her!" By then she had gotten a bit frustrated. The sight of seeing him so weakened by a girl was odd.
His grip tightened. "I can't. I bearly lasted our previous encounter." His eyebrows furrowed and his shoulders tightened.
His heart stopped when he heard footsteps behind him. "What are on about?" She smiled as she took a spot to his right.
His face was cold, though his heart screamed and yearned for just another talk with her, whether it be slight.
He watched her go through town. It was so nerve raking. It was then an idea struck him.
I'll just do what I did the last time. He smiled as he turned around. The woman with black hair called after but he had his mind set. This has to work..
He made his way down the hill, heart pounding in his ears from the excitement of seeing her again. He was too set on what he was doing that he didnt notice the one behind him.
