Chapter 317: Hypothetically Speaking...

While their Majesty discussed Jasmine's love life, Lazuli and I remained silent and pretended not to exist; I quietly ate my food while Lazuli occasionally fed me as she refused to eat any food I didn't cook; however, after some time, Jasmine emerged from underneath the table, though her parents were too engrossed in their conversation to notice her.

"I-I'm sorry about them, Sir Alex." Said Jasmine softly with a deep blush as she looked at Alexander and Lazuli before lowering her head and sighing.

"Ah, it's okay, don't worry, I'm not the least bit bothered... Well, that description of me did make me a bit self-conscious, but other than that, I'm good." Replied Alexander quietly with a shake of his head as he playfully smirked before chuckling, causing Jasmine to shake your head.

"D-Don't be, Sir Alex; not only are you one of the most handsome men I've ever met, but your personality is by far the most beautiful of all." Stated Jasmine solemnly as she stared deeply into Alexander's eyes, causing him to faintly blush while smiling.

"Alex, you're blushing." Said Lazuli lightly with a faint smirk as she looked at Alexander, who gently shooed her away, causing her to chuckle.

"Excuse me for being so earnestly complimented; such a thing rarely happens." Muttered Alexander with a pout as he side-glanced Lazuli, who quietly chuckled while Jasmine watched in amusement.

"Thank you, Jasmine, and I must say I feel the same for you. You're immensely beautiful, but your kindness is what really shines the most about you." Said Alexander firmly as he looked at Jasmine, who smiled through a faint blush while averting her gaze.

"Of course, the same applies to my adorable Lazuli." Added Alexander with a quick shift as he looked at Lazuli before kissing her cheek, causing her to nod with a smile.

"I know... I like hearing you say it, though." Said Lazuli with a grin as she glanced at Alexander before proudly raising her head, causing him to roll his eyes while Jasmine chuckled.

"Haa, Father, Gothel! Can you two stop arguing in front of our guests!" Yelled Jasmine loudly in annoyance as she eyed Volkun and Gothel, causing them to stop their conversation before glancing at her, Alexander, and Lazuli.

"Oh dear, I had completely forgotten; how embarrassing." Muttered Gothel with a slight blush as she apologetically smiled and resumed eating while Volkun did the same.

"I enjoyed it." Said Alexander with a smirk as he raised a glass cup, causing Volkun to faintly smile while Jasmine rolled her eyes before gently hitting his arm.

"Anyway, Sir Alex, tell us about yourself. I'm interested in learning more about the man who saved my daughter." Said Volkun curiously as he gestured to Alexander while Gothel and even Jasmine enthusiastically nodded.

"Ah, if you insist, but I shall warn you, it's nothing special." Replied Alexander lightly as he cleared his throat while glancing between royalty before opening his mouth, recalling interesting events.

Unlike what happened with Master's family, I had Lazuli stop me whenever I spoke too much about Master or any of my lovers, as I tended to do that a lot; it's not like I did it on purpose; I just loved them and had a lot of great things to say about them. Though I'm pretty sure Lazuli took her sweet time to stop me when I was speaking about her, but I digress.

By the time I finished, only about thirty minutes had passed, which was a new record for me; usually, not even triple that would be enough to get through a single one of my lovers.

"So, you have one Wife, two lovers, and you're courting two women right now? Am I correct, Sir Alex?" Asked Volkun curiously as he looked at Alexander while Jasmine narrowed her eyes at him.
