After managing to somehow weasel free from Chloe, who was insistent that we make love, I left the house and headed towards the Mage Guild, though while doing so, I spotted a dark figure hiding within an alley staring directly at me. Using [Blink], which had upgraded enough to allow me to cover nearly thirty feet, I appeared directly in front of the figure and swiftly grasped their head, causing them to quickly retaliate by repeatedly stabbing my arm, though I was healing too quickly for them to do any meaningful damage. "You're with that stupid Church, right? Did Sash or that dumbass Hero assign you to watch me?" Clenching their head harder, they began to ignore my arm and instead struck my vital points, though whether that was because of my disrespect to their Church or their precarious situation was up in the air.
Seeing how I got no response, I clicked my tongue. "Tsk, it matters not whether you answer. You're already dead." Before the figure could further retaliate, I strengthened myself with my mana and violently crushed their head with my bare hands, causing blood and bits of bones and brain matter to stain my hands, though I felt nothing but indifference when I gazed at the corpse. 'You okay, Master? You've never behaved so... Brutal before.' Hearing Trina's childish voice full of concern, I sighed and nodded while conjuring flames to clean my hands. "Yes. I suppose I'm still upset at what they did to Michelle." Glancing at the corpse, I didn't bother to get rid of the evidence as I merely kicked it behind a few boxes in the alley.
I wanted every single person who came along with that stupid hero to see what I intended to do to every single one of them; I lost the most precious person in the world and was unable to do a single thing to prevent their deaths... 'I will ensure my family remains safe, no matter what!' Narrowing my eyes, I left the alley shirtless, as my previous shirt was torn to shreds by the attacks, but I supposed being handsome had its perks since no one seemed to mind. Most of the women are enjoying the show, Master.' Ignoring Zartha, I continued walking through the city, buying a shirt at a store first before eventually arriving at the Mage Guild.
"Good morning, Alexander." "Good morning, beautiful." Waving my hand at the receptionist, who faintly chuckled at my words, I walked past her and entered the teleportation room. 'Still don't remember her name, Master?' Said Zartha coldly as I felt her glare piercing whatever dimension she resides within and settling upon me, causing me to flinch. "I-I don't know what you're talking about." Ignoring Zartha, once again, something I'm quite proficient in, I stepped onto the teleportation pad and inputted the destination before activating it. Once the blinding light vanished, I stepped off the teleportation pad and exited the room, only to see Kana working on some sort of potion, so she didn't even notice me, which was perfect for me since just like her Master, Kana was also perverted.
'Hmm, maybe Master wasn't a normal person, she might've also been a pervert just like Kurama and Lily?' I always thought Master was the normal one between the pair of perverts known as Kurama and Lily, but as the saying goes, birds of a feather flock together, so it was actually more likely that they were all perverts. 'Haa, that's disappointing, my image of Master has been slightly tainted.' 'Only slightly, Master?' Before I could reply to Trina, I suddenly felt several fluffy objects caressing my face, causing me to glance at the reddish furry tails before turning around, only to see Kurama looking at me with an amused expression.
'Shh, my disciple is focused. Follow me.' Listening to Kurama's voice that echoed within my head, I followed her as we silently entered her room while she plopped onto her bed. "So, have you finally agreed to that request of mine, Alex?" Asked Kurama with a seductive expression as she blew a breath of smoke into my face, causing me to twitch while shaking my head. "No." "Tch, dammit." Seeing her lovely expression that was able to melt the hearts of men within seconds vanish, I rolled my eyes before reaching forward, grabbing the smoking pipe out of her mouth. "So, what are you actually here for?" "Why do you make it seem like I only come here when I need something? I visit a lot just out of the goodness of my heart."
