Sophie

Sophie arrived to work the next day 20 minutes late smelling of alcohol and regret. She felt dirty and disgusting, having not had time to take a shower before realising she slept through all three alarms she had set.
Her brain was currently functioning on an hours sleep, plus the twenty minute nap she had on the train in the way into London. She didn't even have time to apply a fresh face of makeup, so today Sophie opted for the 'almost dead' look which she sported well with her fast-approaching hangover.
Her morning so far has consisted of drinking 3 jugs of water with Jake as they went through paperwork, texting Rachel to make sure she was still alive, and feel sorry for herself.
By the time lunchtime came around, Jake and Sophie took their leave to go find the greasiest food they could get their hands on. Sophie normally would have opted for some fruit after a night out to help refresh her, but times were desperate and she was starving, having avoided even going near the kitchen this morning before she left.
By the time Jake and Sophie reached the restaurant (they had opted for a Chinese buffet in the end), they were both a little more refreshed. The pair didn't really speak to each other, but instead scrolled through their phones. Sophie envied the thought of Rachel tucked up cosily in her bed but decided to keep spamming her phone anyway, hoping Rachel would get back to her with some news from the night before.
Sophie wasn't sure what happened exactly last night. Her mind seemed to blur after her fourth vodka shot at 2am. But if her text messages were anything to go by, it probably didn't go all that bad. She noticed Jake's face change suddenly to a mix of shock and excitement.
"What?" Sophie asked bluntly as she sipped her glass of water.
"Oh nothing really, just reading something. What time did you leave this morning at?" Sophie stopped and thought about it for a moment, she remembered a car picking her up early this morning, but never got the exact time.
"Eh, maybe around four or five. I'm not sure, Rachel and Olivia were definitely there though if you wanted to as-"
"No, no. It's fine, I was just wondering. The car must have been pretty full though..." a smirk played on Jake's lips as he looked at her.
"What the fuck are you talking about?" at this stage Sophie had had enough of Jake's pathetic, sly comments. Jake turned around his phone screen to face Sophie, in which was a full HQ photograph from earlier this morning. In which showed Ashton, grinning awkwardly towards the cameras whilst walking hand in hand with Sophie. And although Sophie's face was covered by Ashton's hat tipped slightly on her head, she recognised her golden dress and her way-too-uncomfortable high heels that she had to keep on all night.
A weird feeling hit Sophie at the speed of light. Wherever Jake had gotten it, she was one hundred per cent sure that he definitely wasn't the first one to see it.
Her first instinct was not to text anyone about it, but instead took to Twitter to see the reaction. It wasn't unusual that she done this though, she done this with most other celebrities, (particularly Harry Styles) so it couldn't have been much worse.
Before she could even see her timeline, her mentions were flooding with tweets.
"@hemmmos1996: @ashton5sos @sophiec94 can't say I'm even shocked u guys are a thing tbh"
Sophie went onto the girl's Twitter profile and looked through her recent retweets.
"if Ashton and that girl are dating just be happy for him ffs!!!!"
