'How the fuck!?" The furious man grabbed the first thing he could reach, which happened to be a glass, and then threw it at the wall, causing it to shatter into many small pieces.
The man who was forced to deliver the news stood tall with a serious expression on his face. Judging by his posture, it would seem that he was not afraid at all, but the truth was that at that moment he was more afraid for his life than ever before.
And rightly so, because his boss was currently not pleased, he was furious, and taking a gun and pointing it at someone was as natural to him as breathing.
"Bring the wizard here," he demanded, and the bearer of the news quickly rushed out of the room, relief evident on his face.
The one who remained was seething with anger. He couldn't understand how his plans could have been thwarted. One intervention was enough, and everything he had planned perfectly fell apart.
He had to make sure his wife didn't find out about it.
"Hello my dear friend!" Suddenly someone appeared before him who had to help him. "I see that something is going badly."
"You still owe me." He growled, causing the amusement and smile on the wizard's face, who had appeared through the portal a moment ago, to disappear.
He didn't like being reminded of it. For years, he had waited every day to be able to pay it off. He couldn't wait for it.
"And I need you to finally pay him off completely." The key words were spoken, the words the newcomer had been waiting for so long.
"It's about him, right?"
"Yeah. Let's say we split it into two stages. Just in case..." He began.
And it was at that moment that they planned something that would turn against them in the future.
