ALTHEA'S POV

OMO ! This is the day.

Ngayon na ang Quiz Bee competition namin.

Pero naiinis ako!!! Kaasar kasi si Travis eh.

Pinuyat ako kagabi, hindi tuloy ako nakatulog ng maayos :3

Last night, instead of reading books, tinawagan nya ako sa phone and he randomly shared some stories. I don't know kung ano din ang nangyari sa akin kasi hindi din naman ako nagreklamo. I listened to his random stories and jokes. Hindi ko mapigilang isipin na ang dating kinaiinisan kong tao ay nagkwekwento sa akin ng mga ganoong bagay-bagay.

So now, my heart beats faster and louder. Kinakabahan ako na baka hindi namin masagutan ang mga questions. The Quiz Bee is about to begin and yet wala pa si Travis.

I ended up calling him, and thanks God he pick it up.

"TRAVISSSSSSSSS!!!!!" I shouted at him on the phone

"Chill Althea, I'm coming. Nag-cr lng ako. So stay cool baka matalo tayo dahil masyado kang hot" kainis, tinawanan lng ako ng walang hiya. Malay ko bang nasa CR pala siya.

"Ok then, move fast. The Competition is about to begin. I'll be waiting for you" i ended up the call.

"For the Clincher round", everybody went silent upon hearing the MC's voice. My heart goes wild, I look at Travis who is seating beside me.

"Hindi ba kinakabahan ang isang to?" i asked myself. Hindi naman sa wala akong tiwala sa sarili. It's just that, first time kong sumali sa isang quiz bowl, and ngayon ko lang naramdaman ang feeling na ganito. Yung hahatulan ka based sa katalinuhan mo. Goodness! alam kong Star Section kaming dalawa ni Travis pero ayoko pa din maging kampante. Magagaling din kasi itong kalaban naming section.

Mas lalong dumoble ang kaba ko when i heard the MC's voice.

"Just to remind you guys, the first group that will raised thier correct answer will be declared as the champion. So, here is the question", the MC look at us in a moment then continue reading "What is the only pure Catholic Country in Asia?I repeat, what is the only pure Catholic Country in Asia?"

Napatingin ako kay Travis, then he just smiled at me. I immediately write 'Philippines', in our answer board.

"Are you sure you'll bet on that answer?" he suddenly asks me.

"Yes, eh ito naman talaga ang right answer di ba?" i whispered. But unexpectedly he erased my answer and changed it to 'Timor Leste'. then, he raised the board.

"Ok both team, raised their board at the same time, buth they do have different answers." the MC declared.

"Argh! matatalo pa tayo ng dahil sa iyo Travis! Asar ka!" i punch him slightly on his right arm.

"The Correct answer is " napatingin ako sa MC. " the correct answer is Timor Leste!" The MC announces.

"Diba sabi ko ta-- What did i just heard it right?" i asked Travis with expression written on my face

"Yes, we won!" he confirmed.

"Yehey! we won!" i hugged Travis. I was so overwhelmed that kissed him on his cheek.

Natulala ako sa ginawa ko, my face suddenly changed into crimson. OMO! Why did i commit that act?

Hindi ko na napansin na napapalibutan na pala kami ng mga classmates namin. Masyado akong nahihiya sa ginawa ko. Anong mukha na lang ang ihaharap ko kay Travis???

"aaahhhh!!!" dahil sa sobrang dami ng tao, hindi ko na namalayan na nasa dead end na pala ako ng stage..

Nakapikit na ako at ready to feel ang sahig pero may humawak sa kamay ko.

"are you ok?" i saw concern in his face.

Agad niya akong hinila niyakap.

"Akala ko kung ano na ang mangyayari sayo", lalo niyang hinigpitan ang yakap niya na halos hindi na ako makahinga.

"hey! easy Travis, i'm fine." tinapik ko siya at agad nya akong tinitigan sa mukha.
