Chapter twenty-seven: Ruby Rose

Ethan's P.O.V

We've been waiting out in the hall waiting for whatever this doctor person is doing to get done.

As I'm pacing back and forth, rubbing my hands nervously through my hair the door opens and the doctor comes out.

He gives me a look of disgust, like I'm a pest that's invading his space.

"Is everything okay?! Is Alice okay?" My pacing ends and I walk up to the mysterious doctor. Of course he completely ignores my frantic questions and goes right to Colton like he's actually important.

Colton's just the fuck to blame for everything. He's not her boyfriend I am!

"Excuse me, I asked you a fucking question!" My anger doesn't seem to shake him, in fact he actually has a sly little smirk stuck on his clown ass face.

"Is there something funny?!" I can't help but step closer to his face as my anger grows uncomfortably. He lets out a quick 'ha' then adds. "As a matter of fact yes, they've been telling me how her boyfriend is such a bitch she would have been better off fucking Ruby Rose."

What the hell! Ruby Rose?

Without another word from him or me he looks over at Colton. "Let's talk over here." He gives me another dirty look, Colton gives me a look too but at least his was a little more... whatever.

Colton's P.O.V

That comment on Ruby Rose was great. Ethan has nothing on Ruby Rose. I rather have Alice fuck Ruby than Ethan's bitch ass.

"So, how is she?!" I ask as we get good enough distance away from Ethan, as he starts to pace back and forth again by the mural on the wall.

"She's still doing good, everything had been the same since the last time she was here. Did you tell him yet?" Doctor knight asks. "No, she doesn't even know yet." I look over to see Ethan still pacing.

"Well your going to have to tell her eventually, if she finds out in her own she's going to be even more pissed so i suggest you tell her soon, maybe today."

He does have a good point.

"What about him?" I look over again but he's no longer pacing, he stopped, now staring at us.

"Tell Alice first, she can tell him herself."

"Okay, I'll tell her later today when her boyfriend isn't around." The fact that she's with Ethan kills me. "Well come one she should be up now." He nods his head towards back where Alice is at.

Anticipation grows on Ethan's face as we walk closer to him. "Can I see her now?!" He asks. How I love disappointing him. "No." I reply back. His face turns upside, it's fucking hilarious.

"Why not?!" He asks. I just turn and walk to the door that leads to Alice. I take two steps and Ethan has his hand around my arm. "Your not her fucking boyfriend, I am!"

It takes all of my strength not to turn around and knock him on his ass.

I snatch my arm away and continue to walk. I open the door and she's still out of it. I make my way over to the side of her bed as she lies asleep, looking beautiful.

Alice P.O.V

"Alice. Alice wake up." I open my eyes to a bright light causing me to squint.

My eyes finally adjust to the unnecessarily bright lights and I look over to my left to see Colton standing there staring at me.
