I grab my bag and then run out of the bathroom. The bomb girl isn’t around anymore and I secretly breathe a sigh of relief. I rush out of the hall feeling it to be way too deserted. Its funny how listening to one conversation can make you feel so vulnerable. I was convinced she was going to come after me. That she was going to grab my shoulder and point a gun at my head. I kept looking behind me. God, I probably looked like I had some disease of something, that amount of twitching I was doing. I tried to calm myself down, ‘come on Avalon' I thought, 'she didn’t hear you, she didn’t see you, she was to busy planning the destruction of every one here.”

That makes me pick up my pace and I run down the main stretch, until I see the security office. Sighing in relief I run to the door and knock on it. A security officer comes to the door.

“Um, sir....” I start suddenly lost for words.

“I’m sorry kid, you can’t get into the meet and great room early.” The security guard sighs wearily.

“No..but…” I try again.

The security guard sighs heavily.

“Look I was just in the bathroom and I heard some one talking on their phone.”

The security guard looks at me wearily, probably thinking this some huge elaborate ruse for me to get in early. I wonder if he will even listen, but I continue anyways.

“Sir, they were talking about a bomb. Like blowing up the place.” I finish rather anxiously.

The security guard looks at me for a few minutes and then to my shock starts to laugh.

“Who sent you kid? BBC?” he chuckles and then turns to leave.

“Wait? No I wasn’t sent by anyone. Don’t you understand? There’s a bomb, people will get hurt!” I start to yell frantically.

The security guard looks at me a look of amusement on his face. Then he turns around and closes the door. I sigh, realizing that to these guards I sound like a mad woman. People can’t just walk in to this building with bombs, they have security. But I’m not going to give up. There is no way that I can give up. This is important; this is a life or death thing.

I turn around, a line has already formed at the entrance to meet and greet and at the very front of the line is four huge body guards. They’re holding the crowd back and I know that there is no way that I’m going to get in there. I look around to see a hallway to the right of the meet and greet room. I wonder if maybe there is more than one entrance. I figure my best bet is to sneak in that way. I walk that way and then look down the hallway as casually as possible. I sigh as I see at least twenty people messing with wires and props. Of course, I realize, everyone knows that for every one show there’s at least twenty off scene assistants. I stop and try to think how to get by when from behind me I hear a rude voice exclaim “Excuse me miss.” I turn around to see one of the helpers with a huge rack of cloths. I apologize quickly and step out of the way, but at that moment another assistant comes up. They start talking about a video entrance something or other and I quickly, while their not looking, climb onto the rack under the costumes. I listen to see if they saw anything, but they continue on with their conversation. I internally sigh for relief. I wait until the assistants are done and then feel the cart start to move, as I am pushed with the costumes into the hallway. As we move I peek out in between two huge poufy dresses. I see several doors to the left and realize that must lead to meet and greet. There is no way that I can escape right now, everyone would see me, so instead I wait until I feel the cart stop. I hear the assistant walk off down the hall and I peak out of my hiding place again to see I was placed with other racks at the end of the hall.

As deftly as I can, I climb from one rack to another trying to make as little of noise as possible. I nearly have a heart attack when one of the assistants stop and look my way. I think they might have seen my hair. But they shake their head and go back to messing with a computer and sound board. I sigh and continue my path to the wall. I feel around and to my relief I feel a door knob. I pull slightly and realize it opens about a foot and a half. I quickly climb through, thanking my mother for my petite body, this is one moment I’m glad I don’t have big boobs. I climb through awkwardly and then dart to a corner as people are walking around all over the room. They seem to be setting up the room for a question and answer and as I look around I realize I’m back stage. I sigh as I settle into the velvet curtains.

I start thinking about places in this room that someone might put a bomb., as I’m thinking I realize the only place that a person could hide a bomb without someone noticing would be under the stage. I sigh, could this be any more difficult? I step back a couple of steps trying to feel for the end of stage. I nearly yell when my foot fall right of the edge. Slowly I lower my body over and when I’m hanging just by my fingers I let myself drop. I hit the ground hard and nearly fall over. I grab a post as I feel a tingling sensation go up my legs. When I can stand on my own I walk awkwardly under the stage. Every time someone moves above it creaks and I freeze. Slowly I move from one spot to another looking every where for wires, and I don’t know dynamite? After walking through half of the stage I spot it. It’s not dynamite but it’s duck taped to the ceiling, well actually my ceiling the stages floor. I look to see a phone stuck in with wires and grayish blocks. This is the point when I realize that I have a flaw in my plan. A big one.

I know nothing about bombs.

Heck I know nothing about technology.

I start thinking again. What am I going to do? I wonder if maybe I should grab one of the assistants and show them the bomb, and that’s when I hear the voice, her voice.

“Alan? Where do you want these boxes?”

I nearly scream. It’s the bomb girl’s voice. I then understand how she got the bomb in. She’s an assistant. She works for these people and she’s willing to blow them up. I feel disgust rise in my stomach but I ignore it and walk to the front of the stage.

The stage is one of those temporary stages the kind with a collapsible metal frame. All that’s hiding me is a velvety curtain. I feel my way through the dark to a corner to my left. I know I’m up against the wall. I figure my best bet is to meld in with the meet and greet crowd. Then I can, I don’t know dive on the boys? Maybe I can push them off the stage? I knew I had to be at the front. I stand there at the edge of stage and wait, my legs actually going numb. I’ve got butterflies in my stomach as well, but I know what has to be done. I don’t know how much damage the bomb will be able to cause, but I have to get the boys off of the stage. I’ve got to save them. That bomb is right below their seats. If it goes off they die. After some time, I have no idea how long, the doors open and people start to file in. I merge with the crowd when I think no one is looking, I don't sit with anyone, just off to the side. Some of the fans give me an odd look but I manage to stay calm and look like I’m meant to be there. No one says anything and no one causes a scene. That’s the point when an announcer mentions that Dan and Phil are here. Everyone screams and claps as they walk on stage. I join in, not wanting to look out of place.

And that’s when I see her, bomb girl. I recognize her voice as she grabs her phone and walks to the edge of the stage to my right. I jump out of my seat. Scared as all get out. I scream at the top of my lungs, ‘BOMB!!! THERES A BOMB!!!” I dive onto the stage grab Phil by his arm. I see the look on his face. He looks like he might pee himself. I grab Dan by his arm to and then I pull them. We go flying off the stage as a huge, loud, obnoxious noise goes off behind me. I feel the force hit my back and then something large hit my head. I just have time to register the room in complete chaos, and Phil’s blue eyes looking into mine before black overcomes me. My last thought is that I might have done it, I might have actually done it. I might have saved them.
