Avalon’s POV
When the ambulance pulled up front and the paramedics pushed me inside, I suddenly wished Phil was still holding my hand. He was funny and easy to talk too and his facial expressions were even better in person. I loved the way he looked at me, like I mattered, like he cared for me. I mentally scolded myself. This was Phil Lester we were talking about here. He was famous. He could have any girl, literally any girl, any fan. He wouldn’t pick me. He wouldn’t pick me, Ava he’s not going to pick you. I sighed; he wasn’t going to pick me, even if I would pick him. The paramedics were very nice. They asked me questions like my birth date and where I was from. When I said York they made me laugh because they asked if I meant the new one or the old one. They also asked if there was anyone they should call. I laughed at that too and told them it wouldn’t matter much, seeing as everyone I knew lived in the UK. They did some things with some machine and they checked me over. Apparently I was hit really hard with one of the metal poles from the stage. They told me I was lucky that I was even conscious. They said I might suffer from memory loss and from headaches, but they also told me that other than that there was nothing wrong with me. I thanked them a whole bunch of times. When I got to the hospital, they had one of the brain specialists look me over. It took awhile to see him, and I was really bored. I had checked my phone long ago to find it completely broken. There was no way I would ever be able to use it again. I was hoping the chip was still good so I wouldn’t loose all my stuff, but even that was questionable.
Finally after reading pretty much every magazine they had in the waiting room I was called back. The brain specialist was an older guy with white hair and a funny looking smile. He told me to sit and proceeded to do stuff with lights and things I’d probably never understand. After awhile he told me that, though My brain has swollen slightly, I should be ok, he gave me pain killers and told me to check back in, in a week. When I told him I lived in the UK, he told me to go to a hospital nearby if I had any problems.
I nodded my head and went to stand up and thank him and that was the last thing I remembered before I woke up in a hospital bed. Apparently I had stood up to fast because I had passed out. The nurse was sweet and showed me how to move the bed. She told me I wasn’t allowed to stand up for awhile and so I switched on the TV. I wished I could have gotten up so I could go look for Dan and Phil. I just felt like I needed to see for myself that they were ok. The last thing I remembered was watching Dan stand up and then pass out. If something happened to him because of what I did I would never be able to forgive myself.
After a couple hours of boredom, I heard a knock on my door. I looked up to see Phil, of all the people standing there. I smiled, well ok I grinned, like a maniac, but I just couldn’t help it. He had come to see me. ME! He walked into the room and sat in the chair by the bed.
“Hey Ava, how are you doing?” He asked me. How am I doing? How am I doing? I’m freaking spectacular.
“I’m good, and you?” I asked trying not to sound too excited.
“I’m good, Dan’s fine too, he has a really bad concussion, but they said he would be better in a couple of days. At least he’s awake again.”
I nodded. A smile coming to my face again. I was glad he was Ok. “How are you? Did you get someone to look at your leg? It’s just I saw that you were limping earlier.”
He nodded his head, “yah I just banged it pretty bad but nothings broken.” His face changed suddenly though as he looked at me, “What about you though? Last I heard you had passed out, and when I asked if I could see you they told me not to let you move around or get up to quickly.”
I tried not to smile when he mentioned hearing about me. That meant he would have had to of asked about me. I was seriously trying not to fan girl. “Oh I’m Ok, really. I got hit in the head by the stage, but they said I would be fine, just temporal lobe swelling or something of the sort, to be honest I have no idea what they told me, but they said I wouldn’t die. So I’m good.” I said a smile on my face.
