Why the hell did it have to be a Monday. Why couldn't it just be a damn Saturday. Or the end of the day on a Friday. Or maybe even a Sunday! Just. Not. Monday.
The words played in his head while he laid in the warmth of his bed. Cas rubbed his face with the palms of his hands before reaching for his phone which He ripped off from its charger, and checked the time. 5:05. Just wonderful. Cas slouched back into the comfort of his pillows for a good 10 minutes before finally working up the will to slide out of his bed. It's gonna be a good day Cas! Just, be positive.
He walked across his room ending up in his larger than average bathroom. His parents weren't exactly what you would call "wealthy" but they had plenty of money to provide for the living needs of their 5 kids.
Cas grabbed the cold metal handle to his shower, and opened the glass door revealing a again, larger than average shower. It had marble walls, and the floor was made of smooth pebbles worn down from the countless number of showers that took place there. He tapped a small black screen on the inside wall of the shower displaying numerous options. He tapped a sequence of on~hot~dim. As he did so, the water burst into action displaying an even waterfall of liquid falling to the drain. Then the lights in the bathroom dimmed very low, almost all the way and a light inside the enclosed shower turned on not as dim, but low enough to barley see through the glass.
Cas pulled his favorite TØP shirt over his head and placed it lazily on the marble counter top. He then slid his sweat pants and boxers and placed those half heartedly on the marble counter top with his shirt. He stepped into the burning hot water that almost anyone would call him crazy for taking a shower in, Closed the glass wall isolating him from the outside world, and stood placing his head on the steamy marble surface. He let the water hit his back and roll down to the drain for a good 15 minutes before stepping out. He had plenty of time to take a long shower but he didn't care about washing his hair.
About 20 minutes later he found himself pouring large amount of coffee into a mug and sitting at a table placed in the center of a large dinning room connected to a even larger kitchen. "Hey Cassie!" Cas heard his brother shout from the stairs.
"Moring gabe" he blankly replied.
"Oh c'mon my fav gay brother, cheer up! It's the first day of school"
"say that one more time and I will smite you"
"What? Gay brother?"
"Just grab your crap and get ready to leave"
Gabriel, Cas' younger brother well, youngest of all the children, skipped into the dinning room and picked a black backpack off the back of a chair.
"When are we leaving anyways?" Gabe chimed"now" Cas huffed.
He picked himself up out of the chair he placed himself in, and walked into the kitchen. He poured the left over coffee into the sink and placed the mug in the dishwasher. He walked back to the dinning room and grabbed his own backpack off the chair he was previously sitting in and motioned for gabe to follow.
