Beginning of the night when Cas and Dean left for the party

"Well, what do you want to do now?"

I turned to Gabe who was rocking back and fourth on his heels.

"Umm go inside?"

I smiled and then together we walked side by side to the front door. I reached under the door mat, and found a shiny key in its usual hiding spot. While playing with the lock, I decided to break the silence

"I've got money and hella Xbox games so we've got plenty to do tonight."

"Hella Xbox games" he laughed.

"Yeah hella Xbox games"

We both started laughing before I opened the door and let Gabe walk in before me. I turned around and lifted the door mat setting the key back in slumber.

We walked together into the kitchen and as I came up on the counter, I hopped up swiftly and slid into a comfortable position.

"Dude, it's 7:32, were gonna be alone for a long ass time why don't we do something really fun"

I looked at Gabe and scrunched up my nose

"Like what?"

"Liiiiiike sneak into that partyyyyy"

"DUDE WHAT?! Gabe, hell no we aren't sneaking into Benny's party! You know someone's gonna find us and then tell Dean we were sneaking around"

"So? Who gives a damn"

"Me"

"Well fine, what'ya wanna do for the WHOLE night?"

I slipped a side glance at him and then smirked wildly.

"Sneak ourselves into a party"

"YES!! I KNEW IT"

Gabe jumped into the air and pumped a fist.

"I knew I'd get you to that party one way or another!"

I jumped down from the counter lightly nudging Gabe, and then heading for the door.

"How are we supposed to get there?"
He suddenly blurted out after I locked the door.

"With our legs?"

"How far is it"

"Not too far"

"Ok but how long?"

"I don't know Gabe? Like, 15 minutes maybe?"

"Ok thanks!"

I shook my head in confusion and then placed the key under the door mat, again. I paced over to Gabe who was already making his way down the sidewalk.

"Can you wait like one second?" I whined, but he didn't hear me.

Finally I caught up to him, and we kept at a steady pace along the pavement. We walked in silence until we reached the end of my street.

"So what was your favorite thing about this week?" He broke the silence.

"Umm, Friday"

"Same"

The same silence feel again.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Yeah anything Gabe what's up?"

"Don't laugh at me, but....how do you know if someone is gay?"

I shot my head to the left, and stared at the side of his face surprised at such a serious question.
