~Cas~

I...absolutely.....hate....school....hallways. Cas repeated in his head as kids of all shapes and sizes and smells bleh crashed into him.

He knew he had the most determined look plastered on his face but he didn't care what he looked like. All he wanted to do was get to the office in time to get his stuff and make it to home room. He hated walking in on a class, and having every eyeball in the room burning his skin away. But he was mentally prepared for the worst, because there was no way he was getting anywhere fast. Not in this mess.

Cas finally reached a wooden door that he assumed was the office and was greatly relieved when he realized he was right.

He squeezed his way into the door and shut it quite fast grabbing the attention of what looked like the attendant. He walked up to the desk where she was sitting and told her his first and last name, getting a "oh you must be the new student from California!" And replying with a "yeah".

He didn't like engaging in conversation with someone he didn't know, but he knew that the only way to get to know someone is by talking to them so he stuck with simple yes's and some ok's and one or two thank you's.

The woman who had introduced herself as Mrs. Cohen got herself up and out of what looked like a very comfortable chair, and walked him over to the door of the office handing him papers and folders and explaining his classes. He paid close attention to her until she started talking for at least 5 minutes straight. In the middle of which he heard the bell ring, and caused him to slowly become more agitated.

"Well, that's all I have to say Mr. Novak! Um here is your class you have Math first"

she pointed to a dot on the paper map she gave him, which he didn't get any knowledge whatsoever from because he didn't even know where he was now. But he kept his mouth shut until the burning feeling inside his stomach called fear started taking over

"Um...would you mind walking me over to my first class?" He asked quietly.

"Umm..." Her face slid from happy and delightful to concerned in .2 seconds and he took that as a no.

She popped her head outside the door which she had opened while talking to him about his classes. "Winchester!" Cas heard her call outside into the hall. "Would you mind walking Castiel around the school since you obviously have no intention of getting to class on time?"

Oh lovely Cas gritted his teeth. A student guide to drag me around like a- he stopped dead in his thoughts when he saw what had appeared in the doorway.

Cas quickly realized he was staring and shot his eyes in the only place he could think would make this situation a bit better, which was the floor.

He barley heard the two talk to each other because he had learned to tune out conversation he didn't feel comfortable taking part of. Something about me being a junior? Aaand about how me and sexy green-eyed dream boy would get along great. Wait, WHAT?! No no no. No. Me and sexy green-eyed dream boy are not interacting EVER again. Besides, sexy green-eyed dream boy is probably the most popular, stuck up jock the world has ever seen. On top of that.....straight.

"Be on your way then gentlemen!" The attendants words jerked him out of his thoughts in lighting speed and he stood there like and idiot not realizing he should probably move.
He quickly realized he couldn't move.

Cas could feel green eyes burning into his skull, worse than any number of eyes of kids in a classroom could ever do.

"I don't plan on killing you Cas, I'm just here to show you around" Cas planted his eyes on the boy who just said those words. Good move. Cas thought, because just the smile that the beautiful boy projected made Cas all tingly inside, and he soon found himself smiling too.
