Part 1 -My pain: their gain

Nicki arrives at the ATL office to meet with her manager. Not really in the mood for TJ's crazy stories, she just wanted to go home.

Nicki: "Hello! TJ this better be good you sounded like I just won a billion dollar lottery"

TJ : "yes honey, it is something close to that, not quite a billion though"

[exchange pleasantries ]

Nicki: "okay shoot. What's up?"

TJ: "After this news you gonna loooove me more.  I promise you Nicki"

Nicki: "TJ! Stop! You know I hate waiting. Spill it."

TJ: "Soooo....We finally figured how to get the public off your ass about all the scandalous lies safaree has been putting out around."

Nicki: "I told you, I got it, let's leave that. I'm not gonna give him another time of the..."

[meek walks in with his manager]

Meek: "what's up bro (to TJ) (handshakes).
(to Nicki)  Hey beautiful, how you doing ?"

Nicki: "I'm alright, hey meek (blushes a little at him calling her beautiful). Just wondering why me and you both are here (turns to TJ) whats happening?"

TJ: "well I and Rolo (Meeks manager) have been talking, and we think you should get married !!!"

Nicki: (laughs out LOUD & hard) "what the...."

TJ: "Nicki , Nicki you have to listen before you say anything.
It would be good to cover up the scandal safaree is putting out to the media and sabotaging your career and meek, together y'all can build a strong working relationship, songs, videos, performances!
This is going to be epic."

Nicki : "wait you're not joking? Are you out of your mind? I just got out of a relationship, that I am not even so over, I am facing media coming for me for lies that my ex put out.
And your solution as a manager is for me to get married to someone I barely know like that? Meek did you know about this? This is crazy to you also right?"

(She looks over to meek , hoping he finds this as crazy as she does)

Meek : "I knew nothing about this I swear. But I do think this isn't such a bad idea. Business and personal."

(He knew about this, else why would he join in this joint attack )

Nicki : "Are you kidding me right now? I am not doing this.. Meek are you... Are all of you out of your mind? I am the last to know about this stupid deceit plan? Count me out of this silly insane sh..."

[ Rolo whispers to meek to keep his cool and this would go accordingly]

TJ : (interrupts Nicki) "Nicki , you know the media loves a good celebrity take down? How would you feel if this costs you your whole career?
No caiah going to college, going back to be that New York street rapper? Everything gone.
Are you gonna listen to me then and know I have the best for you in mind for you?
This is not forever and you have nothing to lose and everything to gain."

(Him talking about caiah immediately softens her up,but...)

Nicki: "No you all (pointing from TJ to Meek to Rolo) have everything to gain (thinks quickly about what TJ said). Get the papers ready to sign I'll sign them it's not like I have to live with him."

[gets up to leave]

Rolo : "actually.... You actually kind of....."

TJ: "leave it alone Rolo, we will continue this discussion later"

[Nicki exits]

Rolo : "we will be leaving now man, see you later " (handshakes and exits)

[In the lobby]

Meek : "I told you man, I told you she wasn't gonna take it well. I can't go through with this bro..."

Rolo: "Meek. Meek. Meek. You gotta fight for love and you gotta stay strong in this business."

Meek: "Man what  you talking about , I don't even think she likes me....miss me with all that"

Rolo : "would you want to spend the rest of your life with this girl? Meek?"

Meek : "you know I want to.. I can if she'll let me even..."

Rolo : "Come on man say after me.  "I will make Nicki fall in love with me" repeat and keep saying it. Come on."

Meek : (shrugs)  "I will make Nicki fall in love with me"

[footsteps arrive]

Meek :  "I will make Nicki fall in love with me"
"I will make Nicki fall...."

Nicki : "Nigga, Nicki fall ? ? ? Fall what ?"

[nicki sniffs her nose, from crying in the other room]

Meek : (shocked to see her) (turns to look at Rolo for help but he already snuck out the convo) "Oh shit..."

Nicki : "we gotta talk.."
