It was gentle. Not anything that I'd thought it would be like. He had such a strong powerful tone in his voice, but when it actually came to it, he acted like the sweetest person.

I yawned as I woke up. I heard a soft chuckle in front of me. Niall was wide awake and staring directly at me. "How long have you been up?" I asked.

"Not that long. Only a few minutes or so." He made it seem like it didn't bother him, so I went along with his mood.

"Oh, well good morning!" I said as cheerfully as possible. It wasn't the best considering I was still waking up.

"Good mornin', beautiful." Niall laughed. "Now what would you like to do today?"

That was a tough one. I've never been to Ireland before, so I didn't know what I could do. "Why don't you give me a tour around or something. You know the area, right?"

"I do, but first I need to ask you. How's your throat?" Niall randomly asked.

"It's fine. It hurts a little, but overall it's okay. Why ask that?" I had no idea why he would ask a question like that.

Niall smiled. "You screamed very loudly last night. I'm just checking to see if you've damaged your vocal chords or something."

I punched him in the arm. "I wasn't that loud!" I defended myself.

"Anna, I'm pretty sure the entire hotel heard you." He smirked.

I was slightly embarrassed by that. I started to blush, but I continued to deny everything. "It wasn't that loud. I was loud wasn't I?" I came to the realisation that I was screaming at the top of my lungs. I remembered that moment vividly.

Niall nodded with a victorious grin spread across his face. I rolled my eyes at him and tried to change the topic. "So, I will show you around today, you'll meet some of my mates, and we're going to do something else, too."

"Ooh what?" I was already looking forward towards the other events planned.

"We're going to visit my hometown, and I want you to meet my parents." Niall smiled.

I looked at him in shock. "You want to introduce me to your parents?" He nodded. "But what if they don't like me, Niall? I wouldn't be able to live with myself if they didn't like me and didn't want me to date you! What if-" I was interrupted.

Niall jumped in, "Don't worry about it so much. They will love you! I can guarantee it. If you relax and be yourself, they'll love you! You wanna know why?" I looked into his bright blue eyes giving him the signal to continue. "Because I love you. If I do, then they will, too!"

His words helped me feel much better. My breathing started to stabilize. "Okay."

"Well, we have got a lot of things to do today, so let's get moving." Niall stood up in his boxers and headed for the bathroom for a quick shower.

I put on a pair of shorts that I packed and one of his t-shirts. I patiently waited for him to get out of the shower, so then I could have my turn. After about 5 minutes, Niall got out.

Niall pulled a towel to his hair, attempting to dry it. "Is that my shirt?" He asked while pointing at me.

I nodded and smiled at him. "I hope you don't mind. I just really liked it."

"I don't mind at all. You can keep it if you want." Niall offered. I smiled and quietly thanked him. The only reason I like to wear his shirts was because they smelled like him. It gave me a sense of comfort and protection. Almost like nothing could hurt me.

I showered quickly. Once I got out, I tried to make myself as presentable as possible. I had to put on makeup but not too much, otherwise I'd look like a slut. I had to pick cute clothes that'll impress Niall, but not too inappropriate for his family. It was very difficult, but I finally found the perfect combination.
