We were going to be leaving Dublin today. As upset as I was to be leaving the beautiful city, I was happy. I'd be gaining more distance away from Lucas. I had stopped thinking about the situation last night, but all my worries came back. I snapped back into reality.
The boys went to their hotel rooms to pack up their things. Niall and I quickly packed and started to leave. We met the others in the hallways, and security immediately surrounded us. Niall gripped my hand firmly.
We were faced with hundreds of fans. Due to me being there, they couldn't really stop to say 'Hello'. I didn't feel completely guilty considering we had a flight to catch regardless.
I mostly kept my head down. The second I looked up, I saw him. Lucas was standing in the middle of the crowd with his hands in his pockets. A devilish grin was spread across his face. You would think you're watching a horror movie.
I squeezed Niall's hand tighter as my heart started to beat faster. He looked at me with concern. I knew fear was plastered all over my face. He leaned down so I could whisper in his ear. "He's here." Niall tensed up beside me. Never letting go of my hand, he told the other band members. They seemed as frightened as I was.
I noticed Liam lean over towards one of the guards. Everyone stopped in place. Security came in closer and I heard them request more of them. The lobby of the hotel was too chaotic to get through, and there was a dangerous guy there. The noise level of the room was loud. There was screaming and shrieking.
POP!
A gun fired off. That sound was deafening. Girls were screaming and running out of the hotel. Niall looked terrified. Something wasn’t right. I thought it was security trying to scare away the girls, but that wasn’t it at all. We were being pushed back further into the hotel instead of leaving. I took a quick glance and saw Lucas holding a gun in his hand. The smirk on his face said that he had every intention of using that gun on someone.
We were running towards the emergency exit of the hotel only to find out that it had been locked.
“How the fuck is an emergency exit locked?” Niall shouted in anger.
There was nowhere to go. We were trapped in the hotel with a psycho. The only way out was the front door, but he was standing right there. Security was panicking themselves. I knew that they would find a way to get us out safely. We carefully ran down the hallway. We were ordered to go back to our rooms. They haven’t checked us out yet, so we still had the key.
We dashed up the stairs, but Lucas wasn’t far behind. I heard him trailing behind us.
“Shit.” I muttered. Throughout all this time, Niall never let go of my hand. Louis soon held my other hand. We were going as fast as we could.
POP! POP!
More shots went off. They were aimed at us. I tried not to scream, but soft shrieks escaped my mouth. Niall rubbed soft circles in my hand while practically dragging me up the stairs.
We finally reached the floor of the rooms. Louis had the key to Niall and mine’s hotel room. He fumbled with the key, but eventually the door opened and we all piled inside.
The door was quickly shut. We ran into the bedroom section and sat in the corner. We sat closely together in silence. We all exchanged fearful glances. Tears slowly went down my face. I started crying insanely. Whimpers slipped out of my mouth. Niall tried to wipe my tears, but more replaced the ones he got rid of. He scooted closer to me and held me tightly.
“It’s okay. Everything is going to be okay.” Niall softly whispered. “I promise you, everything is going to be alright.” His voice became a little wobbly.
