Chapter 26 Getting Ready for War:

When we got into the home, Cameron still in shock. I sit him down and I laid down on his couch, putting my stuff at my side.

"You're fucking prince of hell!" He yelled,"I've known royalty for my whole life!"

"I command you to shut up," I said sitting up.

"Why didn't you tell anyone?" He asked.

"I don't want to be like, hi I'm Taylor, prince of hell, I command you to be my friend, yeah that won't work," I said mockingly,"Let's forget this and find Shawn."

"Agreed," he said laying back down,"You look tired, try to get some rest."

I nodded and went upstairs. I got out my phone and looked at some photos of Shawn and me. All the silly photos, like when he tried on one of my bandanas and when he and I went ice skating. I laughed at some ugly selfies he took when I wasn't looking. Then I found this picture of the figure eight, then I saw something in the ice. It was black and deformed. It kind of look like my little sister, Ellie. She can't swim, but how did she get under there. I made sure there was nobody. She wouldn't even go near the water and she would of escaped easily if a human tried to push her in, maybe that's where they're hiding Shawn.

"Cameron!" I yelled.

I hear footsteps and a few trips coming up the stairs. He barges through the door, with his battle axe in one hand.

"Where's the danger?!" He yelled.

"Calm down, I'm not in danger," I said calming him down.

"This better be good," he said getting impatient.

I showed him the picture, explaining that they might be down there.

"Okay, let's go," he said running out.

"Hold it Hercules!" I shouted grabbing his pant leg.

"What?!" He yelled moping.

"We need to figure out how to get in," I said giving him a look.

"I think I know type of lair they have, it's under the lake," he said smiling.

"Okay, genius, do you know how do get down there?" I asked crossing my arms.

"That's the tricky part, the entrance changes all the time," he said looking at me.

"Well, we're just gonna have to go the lake find an entrance, I don't care if I have to dig a hole to China to find him," I said getting up.

"Taylor," he said grabbing my hand.

"What?" I asked looking down at him.

"Are you in love with Shawn?" He asked smirking.

"No!" I yelled defensive,"I'm not gay, okay?!"

"Okay, I'm just asking, don't be so touchy," he said laughing.

"Sorry, but people been asking me that and I just-- never mind let's go," I said running out the door.

While we were walking, I heard Shawn screams the loudest I ever heard him.

"Taylor help!" He yelled.

I cover my ears and fell to the ground. I felt the ground shake under me, the wind start to pick up, the ground begins to break open, and I see fire coming from the ground. Cameron picked me up and ran away from the ground cracking. The screaming got louder and louder, that I pass out.

*Some Time Later*

I woke up in a tree, I look down and see lava everywhere. I don't get it a volcano in Indiana out of all the states. I look to my right to see Cameron looking pretty nervous.

"You giving up?" I asked getting his attention.

"Are you kidding, I'm with you till the end," he said smiling.

"Alright, let's go," I said climbing at the end of the branch.

"What are you doing?" He asked worried.

"I'm going to jump, what's it look like," I said getting ready.

"You're crazy!" He yelled.

"Look who's talking?!" I yelled back.

He went silent and rolled his eyes. I first freeze the lake and I used the tree branch as a diving board. I jump off and actually landed safely. I made a slide for Cameron, so he doesn't fuck up and die.

"Okay let's look around," he said,"Some type of clue, or something we can use to get that entrance."

I realized that lava was coming on the ice. So I try to put an ice barrier up, I know very bad idea, but that all I have.

"Cam, hurry up, because I can't hold this much longer!" I yelled as sweat going down my face.

"I can't find it!" He yelled sadly.

"Think, Taylor, what could be a door?" I thought to myself.

I look at the shield and I look at the infinite sign. It made me happy because it reminded me when we made made that figure-eight.

"That's it!" I thought to myself.

I turn to Cameron who was still frantically looking.

"Cameron, look for a figure-eight!" I shouted.

"Why?!" He asked.

"That's the door!" I said struggling to keep the lava back.

He looked around and I was sweating bullets, trying not get us burned alive.

"Cameron!" I yelled out of frustration.

"Still looking!" He said sounding far away.

"Hurry up!" I demanded.

At the verge of just letting it go, and me dying in a pool of fire, finally feeling warm. When Cameron gave me hope again.

"Found it!" He yelled in excitement.

"Thank God!" I said running.

The pool of lava escaped like a water erupting from a damn. I grabbed my stuff and ran to the figure-eight. We both stomped on it at the same time, and it lit up. We under neath the water, but we could breath.

"Well, I'll add that to the list to my near death experience," I said brushing myself off.

He laughed and got his battle axe out, getting ready. I had my shield and sword, ready to kill whatever's in my way. When we got down there was nobody down here, just a black void. Then I heard Shawn scream again.

"Please God, no!" He yelled.

"Shawn!" I yelled running forward.

"Taylor, help me!" He added.

I ran and I hit into the wall. That's where that horrid screaming is coming from. I kick the wall down and all memories came back to me. It looked like I was in a volcano. With my dad, stepmom, and my brother on their thrones, enjoying torturing any demon they want.

Everyone was startled when I barged in. My dad was happy, my stepmom was angry, and my brother was just smirking.

"Hey dad," I said casually.
