Cameron and I walked out of the house and walk down the street. We headed to the wood because that the only thing I could think of that has bark.

"Do we have any idea where we're going?" I asked.

"Nope," He said still walking.

"Cameron, this isn't no fucking nature walk!" I yelled,"Shawn's life is on the line!"

"Shh!" He said putting a finger to my lips.

"What did you hear something?" I said getting my sword out.

"No, I just want you to be quiet," he said laughing.

"I ain't got time for this," I said slapping them.

"Chill, I was just-- whoa," he said looking at the fog coming towards us,"Didn't the scroll say that if we say fog we're close?"

"Yeah, let's go," I said walking into the fog.

The fog was so dense that I couldn't see my hand. Cameron lost me a couple times and I walked into a couple trees. Then my necklace started to glow again, I put it in my shirt. I look up and see a small blue light.

"Cam, where you at?" I said following in the light.

"I'm lost in the fog, what about you?" He said voice sounding close.

I found him and grabbed his shirt. The light started getting big and brighter. Until it was in the shape of a shield and grabbed it. It was made out of ice, but it was very strong ice. It had a little infinite, I smiled at it because it reminded of Shawn. A tear went down my face when I look up at the women frozen in time. It was my mom.

"Holy fuck!" I said backing up.

Cameron looked at her and frowned.

"Nobody saved her from the Devil's curse," he finally said.

"You mean that's what happened to you," I said choked up.

"Yeah," he said clearing his throat,"But that not all, 3,2,1."

The fog finally cleared and I saw many other people, thousands of them, that didn't survive the Devil's curse. I felt like I'm going to be sick, I back up into a tree and breathed heavily.

"Taylor, we have to keep moving, let's go back to my house and find out where he is, okay?" He asked taking me off the tree.

"Can I have a moment alone with her?" I asked as a tear fell down from my face.

"Sure, I'll be on the outside of the woods," he said walking away.

I walk up to her and held her stone hand. I felt every emotion imaginable, I was happy that I can see her, but I am terrified that I have to see her like this, with fear in her eyes. I dropped to the ground and cried my eyes out.

Remembering the day when she never came home. I would wait for her, by the window after school, for hours on end, just waiting for her to come home. I eventually stopped waiting and assumed she's.....dead.

I cried and cried, on my knees in the middle of the woods. I slowly got up and look at her one more time, feeling my anger raises. I look up at the sky and snow coming down quick. I took a deep breath and kiss her cold forehead. I walked away, looking back at her, having little faint memories of her. I meet back with Cameron and we went back into his house.

"Are you okay?" Cameron asked.

"I'm still in shock that my mom has been here the whole time," I said clenching my fist,"I don't want this to happen to Shawn."

I felt the tears well up inside me, just thinking that. I stop myself from crying and I just tried to calm down. Cameron put my arm around and I just lost it. A waterfall of tear start pouring out of me. He pulled me into his chest and held me tight, rubbing my back. I open my eyes and took a deep breath, breath hitching. I let go, wiping my tears and nose.

"S-Sorry, I just lost it," I hiccuped.

"Tay, you don't need to apologize, you kept your feelings deep down, trying to cope with them, and now this happens," he said wiping tears away.

"I just wouldn't be able to live with myself, knowing I couldn't save him," I said clenching my chest.

"Hey, we'll get him back," he said smiling at me.

I look at him and smiled. I wiped my face and kept walking, then I felt like a disturbance. I held my head, trying to pinpoint what it was. I heard at most three people talking, recognized one of their voices.

"Oh no," I said coming out of my thoughts.

"What's wrong?" He said taking the battle axe out.

"They're here," I said running behind a tree.

"Why are you hiding?" He whispered.

"We take them out by surprise," I said hearing them coming.

"Okay," he said getting ready.

I look to see three demons, laughing and joking. They were talking about Shawn and me. I rolled my eyes and got ready. I took out the first one with out them noticing. I put him to the side and Cameron took out the fat one. Which I got to say was pretty funny. I turn around to a sound of laughing.

"Fuck off!" I growled.

"That is no way to talk to your mother," she said circling me like a shark.

"Stepmother," I corrected.

"You never visit anymore," she said pretending to be sad.

"I don't think anyone wants to visit hell, out of places," I snapped.

"Your brother actually made me proud, taking on the title as prince," she said crossing her arms.

"I'm still dad's favorite," I said smiling.

"I don't know what he sees in you, you're going on this dangerous quest for a boy," she snarled,"You gay fag."

I take out my sword and decapitate her head. She falls on her knees and falls forwards. She evaporates in black smoke.

"You know what I'll come and visit more often, see you at Thanksgiving," I said smiling.

I turn around and see Cameron in shock.

"What?" I asked.

"You're-You're," he said looking like he was going to pass out.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, prince of hell, please to meet you," I said bowing,"Please don't freak out."

"I'm not freaking out, it's just um- wow, you're His son," he said putting a hand through his hair.

"Okay, I'll explain everything as soon as we get home," I said pushing him.

I'm coming for you Shawn.
