Luke sat up in bed. His room was dark, except for the moonlight shining through his window that casted strange looking shadows onto the walls. He shifted his eyes over to the clock on his night stand. It was five in the morning, one more hour until his alarm would go off for school. He put his head in his hands and rubbed his eyes that he found to be wet with tears. Surprised by why he was crying he quickly lifted his head up and wiped away the tears like he'd never cried before, examining the liquid left on his finger tips. He sniffled and rubbed his arm across his face. Finding nothing else to do at five in the morning, he got his journal from his night stand and put the flash light next to it in his mouth. He began writing:

Hey I'm Luke..I guess you know that..well I guess I know that I'm Luke..anyways..Michael's mum told my mum that Mikey keeps a journal with his feelings inside so sure enough she bought one for me and here I am at 5:00 AM journaling about stuff.

Speaking of Mikey, he's..different..I mean he's always been different but now it's scary..now I'm afraid of him. But I also can't stand not having him around. Every day I get teased at school and bullied and picked on..and who's there to help me? NO ONE! Because Michael had to go and get Calum! And Calum ruins everything! Everyone thinks I'm gay because of how close I am with Mikey but it's not true! I tell them and they don't believe..I just broke up with my girlfriend and that hurt..but not as much as it hurt to loose Michael to Calum's twisted head.

Ashton is barley around anymore since he's got a new girlfriend..she's a lying bitch but Ashton's too pure to see that. He finds the good side to every person. It's terrible.

So here I am, freshly a bachelor with no friends, journaling at..5:30 AM. Waking up to die in an hour...what if I just didn't go to school anymore? What if I pretended like I was going but didn't? That's genius! Why didn't I think of this before? First thing tomorrow morning I'm ditching school. I mean, I'm not important so no one would even notice.

After closing his eyes for what felt like a good two seconds, Luke's alarm buzzed. He slammed the clock with his fist hearing a cracking noise. He sat up in bed and rubbed the sleep away from his eyes with a yawn.

"Luke! School!" His mother called up the stairs making sure he had woken up on time.

"That's what you think" he said under his breath remembering his plan to ditch school. He stood up and stretched in his taco boxers then made his way over to his closet pulling out black jeans and a black Green Day tank top. He put it on and went into the bathroom to brush his teeth.

"Luke! Are you awake?" His mother yelled up once more.

"Yeah Mum!" He replied spitting toothpaste into the sink. He wiped his mouth with his hand and got his phone off the charger putting it in his pocket and walking down the stairs.

"Here's your breakfast" his mother smiled handing him a plate with pancakes drenched in syrup just how he liked it.

Luke took his plate and sat at the kitchen table. He shoveled the pancakes into his mouth and chugged his orange juice "done" he said standing up and taking his plates to the sink.

"Wha-? Done?" His Mother asked shocked.

Luke put on his black hoodie and backpack and gave his Mother a kiss on the cheek "yep, done, bye" he said walking towards the door.

"Uh, bye!" She waved as he left.

Luke stepped outside and walked along the sidewalk with his backpack hanging off one shoulder and his hood up. He put one hand half way in his jean pocket and the other held the strap to his backpack.

As usual a car rolled up behind him blaring music from the speakers. It stopped next to him "hey Hemmings!" The driver said followed by girls giggling. He was a boy Luke's age with black hair and a leather jacket on. Girls sat in the back seat and another boy was next to him.
