waking up w/ eachother.

--update: the first few are when I was learning the ways of imagines so I apologize for the first person pov, it changes eventually (:

the morning light had just started creeping through the curtains that closed off the windows. the light contouring cody's features, his face highlighted in an angelic way. I twisted my body over so I was facing him, his arm still drapped over my side. I let a soft smile rest on my lips at the sight of him sleeping. he was beautiful; a masterpiece.

I let my fingers trace over the edge of his jaw, lightly running them over his skin until they reached the bridge of his nose where I gave it a light tap. I could feel his breathing change and his grip tighten aroud my waist to bring us closer.

his eyes fluttered open, revealing the blue orbs I loved so much. a smile pulled at his lips, as his arm moved so his palm rested on my cheek, his thumb gliding over my cheek. the pad of his thumb burning fire through my skin.

"morning, love," he mumbled, leaning forward to place a chaste kiss to my forehead.

"morning," I sighed happily, bringing myself even closer to his chest. I let small kisses linger over his skin, cody letting out a content hum.

"did you sleep good?" he wondered, letting his hand run up and down my back in a feathering motion causing goosebumps to rise on my skin.

"very good." I smiled, leaning further into him. our bodies were close, but I felt as if we weren't close enough. his skin was against mine yet, I felt the need to be closer to him. I could never get enough of him.

all too quickly, I could feel cody's hands attach to my sides bringing my body on top of his so my chest was flush against his and our faces level. he brought his lips to my nose, placing a quick kiss to the tip of it. I let out a giggle at his gesture before I could feel his lips everywhere in a playful manner.

he placed wet sloppy kisses all over my cheeks, my lips, forehead, and nose. my stomach had hurt from laughing so much. in the process, his hands were gripping onto my sides, causing me to let out a laugh at him tickling me. the room had erupted into laughter, as cody's touches were all over me. I could hear his contagious laugh ring through my ears, causing me to giggle even more. I tried to force my body off of his to breathe, but his grip was too strong for me. he held me on his chest, continuously kissing me and tickling my sides.

"well aren't--" kiss

"you--" kiss

"a little--" kiss

"ball--" kiss

"of sunshine--" kiss

"today," I breathed, feeling him finish his kisses as he stopped tickling me.

I let out a heavy breath, trying to relax myself. my heart rate had increased and I was out of breath from laughing so much.

"I just love you," he shrugged happily, resting a cheesy smile on his features.

"mhm," I hummed, ducking my head down to press my lips to his. our lips moved in sync, not working to escalate to anything more. it was an innocent kiss filled with a gesture of love. after a few moments I pulled away, "I love you."

"do you have classes today?"

"no, but I should head home. I have so much to do."

"no," cody grumbled, throwing his head back and squeezing his arms around me tighter.

"cody," I mumbled, running my fingers through his hair. he let out a content moan at the contact, flashing me a smile.

"can't you stay here with me?" his hands ran down my bare skin before resting on my hips. after last night, we hadn't bothered to put clothes on besides out under garments.

"make a deal?" I asked, meeting eyes with him. his blue irises poured into mine as he raised an eyebrow gesturing me to continue.

"if I stay, you have to help me later."

"or," he sighed, placing a smirk on his lips. I could feel the heat of the pads of his fingers  move lower on my body. under his touch, my skin was on fire. I could feel his breath fanning over my neck, causing my eyes to flutter.

it wasn't until his thumbs dipped under the hem of my underwear that I had to use all the willpower within me to roll off of him, a groan erupting from him. If I hadn't stopped him, he would've easily gotten his way.

"y/n," cody sighed, rolling himself over so he hovered over me.

"deal or no deal?" I asked once more, and when he didn't reply I moved to untangle myself from his white sheets before he tugged on my wrist bringing my body back down to his chest.

"deal," and with that he placed a kiss to my lips before moving us so he could cuddle into me and I could run my fingers through his hair again.

everything felt right with cody. I was perfectly content with the way we were and wouldn't change a thing. we were inevitable, always running to one another for everything, becoming one at the end of the day. and I know, I couldn't possibly be more in love with him. and I was certain he felt the same.
