I was out swimming in the waters near our castle. Most princesses would be getting their beauty sleep at 7 in the morning. But today was the day I was heading off to Alfea. I'd always had a real connection with the ocean, so I thought I spend my last few hours on Andros in the oceans.
I heard a faint sound coming from the palace. I turned around and spotted a figure off on the shore. I decided to swim closer and see who it was. As I got closer I wished I hadn't swam up to the shore. There on the shore stood Blue. Blue was one of the castle watchmen, and had been assigned a special job. To watch me.
"Princess Victoria!" He shouted. "What are you doing in the water? You must prepare for Alfea!"
I sighed. "Yes, Blue. I'm coming." I paddled onto the shore where Blue was holding a towel. He handed it to me so I could dry myself off.
Since my parents, Queen Aisha and King Roy, are always busy with their royal duties, they decided to hire watchmen for both of us. My twin brother, Michael, and I hate having them always breathing down our necks. All we want is sometime to ourselves.
Blue and I walked back up to the palace. I had to pass by the throne room to get to my room. As I was passing by my mom saw me.
"Victoria? Why are you all wet?" Mom asked walking towards me.
"I found her out in the ocean, your highness," Blue explained, bowing in the presence of my mom.
"Thank you, Blue. You are dismissed." My mom said and Blue left, she turned to me. "Victoria, what have your father and I told you about swimming in the ocean?"
"That I shouldn't swim in the ocean without any supervision," I muttered.
She sighed and picked a piece of loose seaweed out of my wet hair. "I know you don't like these rules, but we've made them for a reason. Your father and I want you to be safe."
"But there's nothing wrong with the ocean! It's perfectly safe!" I argued.
"Bad things have happened to Andros in the pass. And if anything should happen again, I want to know that you are safely inside the palace."
"Yes, mom. I understand," I sighed, finally giving into the argument.
"Good, now go finished drying off. You have a big day ahead of you,"
I smiled. At least one good thing was coming out of this. I hurried up to my room, and passed my twin brother in the process.
"Woah, what happened to you?" Michael asked.
    "I was—"
"Swimming in the ocean?" He guessed.
    "Was it that—"
"Obvious? Yes." Michael finished for me.
    "Quit it!" I yelled.
"Yeah right, and miss an opportunity to see you get all flustered not a—"
"Chance—", I said with a smirk. He narrowed his eyes at me. "Sorry bro, but I'm heading to Alfea soon and there's no way I'm leaving on a sour note." I walked away without another word and entered my regal ocean inspired room.
I headed to the shower to get rid of the seawater smell, and clean my hair. Once I got out I blow dried my hair and pulled it up into a high ponytail. I got dressed into my one shoulder black top and blue denim shorts. I buckled on my teal blue boots and looked at myself in the mirror.
"This is it, I'm finally going to Alfea," I smiled. I walked over to my bed, and grabbed both my Teal suitcases. I pulled up the handle bars and they rolled behind me as I walked.
I raced down the stairs as fast as someone who could, carrying rolling behind them. My mom was waiting for me at the bottom with her hopeful brown eyes and standing next to her was dad.          Obviously Michael didn't want to see me off. I hugged my dad goodbye then went to hug my mom.
"Alright Victoria, are you ready?" Dad asked. I nodded confidently. Using her magic mom opened the portal to Alfea and I stepped into it.
