Amethyst's POV

I finally found my dorm room with a sign outside that read my name along with 5 other girls' names. It read:Amethyst of EraklyonCelina of SolariaLillian of LynpheaHarmony of MelodyKendrix of ZeneithVictoria of Andros

I entered the room to see if anyone was there yet, but the main area was empty. I started looking around the main corridor then suddenly I heard a scream of frustration coming from another room. I dropped my bags and rushed into the room that I heard the scream come from. There I found a girl with platinum blonde hair and a carefully place blue head band. She wore a little blue dress that complimented her headband.
"Are you alright?" I asked starting to pick up some clothes off the floor and pile them on her bed.
"Yes, I'm alright, Thank you," she answered while picking up more clothes from the floor. "My suitcase just popped upon, spilling my clothes everywhere." When all the clothes were piled on the bed, she snapped her fingers and in a flash they were gone. "Well now that that's done let me introduce myself. I'm Celina Princess of Solaria."
"Nice to meet you Celina, I'm Amethyst." I told her.
"Doesn't Eraklyon have a princess named Amethyts?" she asked.
     I nodded. "That's me."
"Cool. It's great to meet a fellow princess; my parents don't bring me to royal meetings because I can be a bit of a distraction." She laughed at the thought. "So do you want to go see if anyone else has arrived?"
     "Sure," I replied.
We walked out into our main corridor and found a girl with caramel brown hair kneeling next to pot of wilting flowers.
"Come on little plant, grow," I heard her say, she sprinkled a little pouch of sparkly dust over it and it and within a few seconds it popped back up bigger and brighter.
Celina and I applauded. "Wow, great job!" I said. She obviously hadn't noticed Celina and I enter the main living space, because when we started clapping she jumped a bit, causing the plant to sway.  She turned and looked at us with a sheepish smile.
     "That's was amazing!" Celina exclaimed.
"Oh, um, uh t-thank you," she said quietly. She gave us a warm smile "I'm Lillian, but you can call me Lily."
"Nice to meet you Lily, I'm Amethyst and this is Celina." Celina gave a friendly wave when I announced her name.
"So, I'm assuming you're from Lynphea?" Celina asked. "You know because of the plant magic."
Lily nodded her head. "Yep, Lynphea is my home realm. But that wasn't a spell, that was just a special formula that my mom invented." She looked at us. "Where are you two from?"
"I'm from Solaria, where I'm the princess," Celina stated proudly.
"And I'm from Eraklyon," I said.
"Where she is also the princess," Celina added.
"Hey, don't forget me," an unfamiliar voice said. We turned around to find two girls, one with dark skin and poufy brown hair up in a high ponytail. The other girl had fairy and dark magenta hair pulled into two low ponytails. "Hi, I'm Harmony from Melody," said the unfamiliar voice we first heard. She set down to coral colored bags of luggage.
"And I'm Victoria, Princess of Andros, but I prefer to be called Tory," said the dark brown haired girl as she also set down two teal bags of luggage.
"Nice to meet both of you, I'm Amethyst, this is Celina," I said signaling towards Celina. "And that's Lily."
"Hey," Celina said to Harmony. "Is your mom by chance Musa Melody?" Harmony nodded. Celina smiled widely. "No way! I love her music, I used to listen to it all the time."
     "Used to?" Harmony asked skeptically.
"Well for some reason my parents stopped letting me listen to her songs. I don't know why they were so against it. None of her songs were bad or anything."
Harmony shrugged. "Beats me, parents always seem to do weird things."
I looked at the list that was taped to one of the bedroom doors. Apparently there were suppose to be six girls in the room, so we were still missing one.
"Looks like we're all here except for a girl named Kendrix," I said examining the list.
"That would be me," a girl said. We all turned around to find a girl with medium length teal hair.      "Hi there, I'm Kendrix of Zeneith," She said.
"Nice to meet you," said Celina. After we went around introducing ourselves to Kendrix, supper time was rolling around so the six of us decided to head down to the Cafeteria. I'm going to be honest that cafeteria food wasn't bad, but it was still cafeteria food.
We walked into our dorm room at seven and classes started the following morning. While some of us thought it would be a good idea to unpack, others (Celina) thought we should play a get to know you know game. Of course five dominated one, so the rest of went to unpack our suitcases.
By the time it was 8:30 all of us had finished unpacking. Well, Celina had finished unpacking, the rest of us had finished half an hour ago.
"Okay, while Celina is finishing up her unpacking, why don't we go around and say what our powers are?" Tory suggested. "I mean each of us comes from a different realm, so our powers aren't going to be very similar to one another."
"Sounds good. I'll start us off," Harmony volunteered. "Well coming from Melody, my powers cover Music in general."
Lily went next and answered in her small voice. Though it was getting a bit louder each time she spoke around us. "Well you could probably guess that my powers are over nature, since my realm is the Plant Realm."
"My powers are Water," Tory said. "A pretty basic power, but you can do so much with it."
"Wait!" Celina yelled running out of her room. "Did you guys really start without me?" she crossed her arms over her chest. "Rude."
"Sorry, we thought you were still unpacking," Lily apologized.
"I was, but it's not that big of a deal," Celina shurrged. "Now we were talking about powers?" We all nodded. "Awesome! Well my powers are over the Moon and Stars. I even have this amazing scepter I get to use when I transform. It was my grandmothers, but she passed it down to me." She pulled off a ring on her finger and showed it to us.
    "That's a beautiful ring Cel," I said.
"Thanks. It goes by generation. My mom had a scepter to. So the next girl that's born into the Royal Solarian family will get her scepter and the girl after that will get the scepter I have."
"So the powers of Solaria alternate?" Kendrix asked. Celina nodded. "That's really interesting. I don't know a lot of realms that still do that."
"Well Solaria has been doing it for as long as Solarian history goes back, and I for one am very proud of it." She turned to Kendrix. "Alright, your turn."
"Well, my parents decided to give me the powers of emotions."
"A fairy from Zeneith has the powers of emotions? I've never heard anything like that," I said.
Kendrix shrugged. "My parents said when they were dating; they always had a hard to time expressing how they feel. I guess they didn't want that for me."
"Parents are so weird sometimes," Harmon muttered.
"Tell me about it," Tory groaned. "My parents are normally the go with the flow type and are okay with me doing what I want. Everything except swimming in the ocean. It's like they become completely different people when I go swimming. And that's not even the worst part. When I ask them why I not supposed to swim in the ocean they say bad things have happened in the waters of Andros, but they never specify!"
"Have you tried looking up past events in the waters of Andros?" Kendrix asked.
Tory nodded. "Yeah, but every time I try to go to the library I'm never allowed in the History area and if I try to search it up on the internet, all the sites have been blocked. Parents are a lot smarter then they look."
"Yeah, my mom never really talked about her Alfea days. No matter how many times I asked. And trust me, I asked a lot," Celina said.
"Have you guys ever felt like your parents are keeping something from you?" I asked out of curiosity. I know I had felt it before. Something just seemed off to me.
All five girls nodded. "What could be so bad, that they had to be all secretive and keep something from us?" Harmony wondered.
"If they were keeping something from us, I'm sure they had their reasons," Lily piped up. The others all murmured in a agreement. But I don't think any of us were convinced, especially now that the thought of our parents keeping something from us was in our head.
"Hey, do you think our parents knew each other?" Celina asked.
"If my parents knew your parents, I'm sure they would have mentioned them or at least come to visit them on Lynphea. My parents love having their friends over. If your parents never came over the I doubt they knew each other."
Kendrix nodded in agreement. "Besides, Alfea has a huge student count; the chances that they even encountered one another are slim. But to be friends? Highly improbable."
"Well," I said. "We've been talking for awhile now. Time to get ready for bed."
"Wait, Ame," Celina said. "You never told us what your powers were."
I cringed and turned to look at them. "Oh, I'd love to, but I'm just so exhausted. Maybe tomorrow or some other time? Cool? Cool. Okay, Goodnight." I quickly scurried into my room. I was going to have to tell them I didn't know what my powers were at some point. But it's just so embarrassing. How was I supposed to tell them this exactly? I sighed and changed into my pajamas, deciding to sleep on the thought.
