While Kangta and Heejun moved forward into their solo careers, Tony, Woohyuk, and Jaewon chose to move forward without them. The sheer fracture of the most popular band caused shockwaves as many young girls mourned over the death of such a beloved band. Though it was a setback, it was end of their music careers in fact they were just getting started. The three formed an agency just for themselves to suit their needs. They named themselves JTL, a combination of the first letters of their names or "Jang Tori" in Korean. It would a group self-managed and self-produced by them, mostly by Woohyuk.
"Alright my sons this is time where we make our comeback. Don't expect Sooman to show any mercy towards us, expect some pushback. What matters is we show everyone is we're still here, stronger than ever. The message of H.O.T never died. They live now within us, only for us." Woohyuk clarified.
"Now that is what you call turning the tables. We'll show that old bastard what he took for granted. Now we take control of the stage. No more pr statements, no more staged interviews, it'll be one percent authentic. I'm honestly excited for this new chapter." Tony said with excitement.
"I too feel the same way. It does feel good to work on our own pace. I don't feel like I have to catch up anymore." Jaewon felt grateful.
It was up to them to forge their own path without the interference of SM Entertainment. It was only the beginning.
