“LOLAAA” I opened the door to the girls, who jumped right on me and knocked me to the floor.

The boys had invited Ash to Nathan's house to get ready with the rest of them, which I found that to be quite nice, seeing as the guys at Ash's school were way too scared to try and be friends with him.

“Hello girls, snacks are in the kitchen.” My mum said to all of us.

“Greetings Leanne!” The girls said.

“Yes, yes hello, long time no see.” Mum smiled and then walked away.

“Let's goooo!” Dallas screamed as the girls followed her upstairs to my room. They've all been over thousands of time, so this was practically their second home. 

Before going upstairs with the rest of them I ran towards the kitchen to grab the snacks mum had told us about. 

“Mum I'm just going to take these.” I said to mum and started walking away.

“Lola, where is Ash?” Dad, who was eating something on the dinner table asked.

“He's getting ready at his friends house, dad.” I said, a bit harshly.

They both looked at each other and nodded. I just walked away up to my room.

“Snaaaacks!” I screamed as the girls pounced to grab some chips and chocolate from the bowls.

“Lola, could I talk to you for a quick minute?” Darsee said as she stepped over the girls, and I heard what sounded like Max saying that she needed to go to the bathroom.

Me and Darsee went into Ash's room and closed the door.

“What did you want to talk to me about.” I asked as I sat on Ash's bed.

“You haven't been the same Lola, and all the other girls and guys agree, they just didn't want to say anything. I mean you haven't been the happy cheerful Lola that you usually are, I mean when was the last time you even sang?” She took a deep breath in before continuing.

“Just please tell me what's going on, I'm your best friend, you can trust me with everything.” 

I decided that I should just tell her the full story. We've known each other since we were 5, longer than I've known any of the other girls. I had only known Nathan for a couple of months and he took it better than I thought.

I sighed.“Okay, but I'll have to start from the beginning.”

I knew that Darsee was going to understand. But, just like Nathan, she took it better than I ever thought. She suggested that I stay with Nathan the whole time to make sure that if Jake did turn up, he wouldn't get hurt. 

None of the other boys knew about Jake, and he didn't know them either, so they were at no risk.

We were all dressed and ready for the boys by 7, which was the time they said they would be here.

I had a black skin tight dress on with jewels and patterns all over the front. I also had a large bow in my hair that matched with the pattern of the dress.
