LOLA’S POV
Drama.
One of my speciality subjects.
One of the reasons why I enjoyed going to these classes was because the teachers actually ENJOYED doing there job. Unlike the compulsory subjects teachers, who frown upon almost all forms of performing arts, but were forced into teaching in Lionsdale because it was almost impossible for them to be accepted into another school.

And of course, like yesterday, I was forced into walking to drama with Nathan. This was like, workplace harrassment. I can report him. And I willl.
“Are heels part of the school uniform?” I was so lost in my boat of thought that I barely noticed Nathan Sykes was walking right beside me like a leech on a humans leg, or one of those prickly balls that fall into your shoe and get stuck on your sock.
“Perhaps so. Subsequently the similarities between heels and helium couldn’t be more different. Therefore the consequences of wearing helium in some form or another on ones foot would be rather adjacent to the fact that one cannot wear helium on ones foot.”
“Um, I’ll take that as a yes?”
“Mmmhm. Well no actually. Me and the girls just started wearing them and when the teachers started to tell us off, we wrote a letter. And they said we could.” I smiled, remembering the day when I actually felt smart.
We walked into the auditorium when I shouted “GREETINGS!” causing everyone to look at me, and me bestfriend to laugh at me.

NATHAN'S POV

Okay so Lola Crush is by far the most weird, crazy, confident, beautiful girl I have ever met! She was so unique too. What with her purple hair and big bow headbands.
We walked through the open auditorium doors and Lola screamed “GREETINGS!”.
Oh wow she had serious problems.
“Grettings Lola, and fellow friend. And you young man are?” said the drama teacher.
“Nathan Sykes.” I smiled.
“Oh yes. This Student Movement Program is confusing me! I'm Miss Everdale, but call me Miss. Ev.” Miss. Ev was pretty young and petite and she seemed like the nicest teacher. Me and Lola sat down in the same row as Harry, Zayn, Siva, Louis, Niall, Liam, Jay, Darsee, Max and Tahnee.
“So as you all know, this seasons play will be called the classic, Grease! And we will be holding auditions for parts... NOW! Who would like to audition for Sandy and the Pink Ladies, come on stage now.” About 15 girls made their way to Miss Everdale including Lola, Darsee, Max and Tahnee.

To the pianist and whispered something in her ear, the girl nodded and then Lola walked up to the microphone and began singing. That's when i knew to not judge a book by it's cover.
She started singing 'Your Song' the Ellie Goulding version. It was perfect, her voice was perfect. It was truly the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. It waas as if the whole room was empty and myself and Lola were the only two in the hall. I was almost hypnotised by her voice, it was compelling and unlike anything i've ever heard.
She finished singing and the whole hall cheered. Lola smiled and blushed a little, looking slightly embarassed by all the attention she was getting. She skipped off the stage and bounced down the stairs.
The other girls going for the same part took their turns to perform, but I hardly paid any attention because I was lost in thought. Thoughts about Lola.
She came and sat down next to me and for the first time I was lost for words. I was always the confident, out going type that was never stuck in an awkward situation. But now, i couldn't speak. It was as if my brain had been taken out, I just couldn't put any words together. For the first time I felt something more than just a liking towards a girl. I felt something way more that a crush.
