Jabbawockeez Regenerate

Chapter 4: Releasing The Soldiers

Her heart was pounding as she ran down the dim yet darkened hallways.  The men chased her throught it they tried to catch her by grabbing her by her hair or the hood of her jacket she was wearing but she managed to dodge all of them then ran into another part of the lab but saw that there was no other way out then the way she had entered and knew she was trapped. The men stop a few feet away from her and slowly inched their way towards her as Raven back up as far as she could against the wall.

Her foot accidentally hit a button on the floor against the wall that seemed to activate the speakers that were in the corners of the room in the shadows. A static sound rang through the room, then music started playing and the men stopped walking towards her and stood still for a minute listening to the music.

Raven watched them, still breathing heavily fromm all the running, kept her place against the wall. The men then started to slowly dance along to the music, moving in unison with one another. After the music ended they all then stood still in line next to each other as an image of Ravens uncle appeared from a projector on the ceiling. " Raven I see you found the lab! It's great to see you again my dear! Before you is my life's creation that I have been working on for quite some time now. I have given them the name 'Jabbawockeez'. They will help you with your mission to restore order to the city and rebuild it. They will protect you no matter what happens and no matter who stands in your way. With or without your brother, I know you can do it... to awaken the Jabbawockeez you must recite the chorus lyrics of your favorite song. And to activate them you have to say 'Jabbawockeez' then give them an order. You lead them from now on Raven. I give you all my love and the best of luck to you and the boys. Never stop fighting Raven."

Her uncle said softly smiling then vanished as the projector shut off and deactivated. Raven looked at the Jabbawockeez still nervous, she took two steps forward towards them. She looked at all of them and took a deep breath as she slowly started singing. "In the end as we fade into the night. Who will tell the story of your life? And who will remember, your last goodbye? Cause its they end and I'm not afraid, I'm not afraid to die." She sang softly watching the boys' reaction. While singing the song, with each lyric she sang they all shook a bit before they flew backwards against the wall as if the song was awakening them one by one.

Raven winced a bit as they all flew back against the wall, laying there for a minute then the white substance that created their masks faded away revealing their faces. They all held their head with a groan of pain as Raven had stopped singing when they hit the wall and shakily stood up trying to maintain their balance. " W-who are you?" One asked as Raven looked at them with her light crystal blue eyes then rolled up her jacket sleeves on her arms.
