"Any broken bones, Miss?"

I shook my head. "I'm feeling a bit better, it's just this small bruise on my eye that's bothering me" I groaned. I hobbled to the bathroom mirror.

"Does anyone have makeup, Rosely?" I asked her.

Surprisingly, the punch did not swell up my eye but instead left a bruise. It was nothing makeup couldn't cover up though.

"Of course. This house is jam packed with women. How could we not?" She quickly reached for the makeup bag that was apparently in the bathroom cabinet. She handed it to me. "You shouldn't really be up and about. Damien instructed me to keep you in bed until you get better"

"Screw him. Besides, if he tries to mess with you, come to me" I smiled at her and zipped open the makeup bag.

"Miss. Brielle,  I admire you for not doing everything those assholes ask" she said. Soon after she looked around to see if anybody but me heard.

I giggled at her. "Besides, why does Damien want me to get better?"

She sighed. "So you'd quickly jump into doing his dirty work for him. You've already started later than usual. The other girls probably envy you."

I shrugged "Oh well" I said. I finished applying the last bit of makeup to cover up my eye before looking at her "What kind of dirty work?"

"I wish I knew but Damien was not my leader, Kyle was" Rosely shuddered at his name "But I heard that Damien is a little in the wild side" she whispered.

"Rosely!" A voice screamed from down the hallway before I had time to respond.

Rosely's eyes widened in fear. "I have taken too long in here, whoever is calling for me is going to kill me!". She quickly gathered some towels to pretend she was folding them this entire time. "I'll see you later, Miss. Brielle!" She murmured before rushing out.

I sighed as I watched how terrified she was of everyone.

I slipped on a outfit and ate a bowl of chicken noodle soup that the chef had prepared for me.

After the soup, I walked downstairs to see if any girls were around.

I haven't talked to anybody but Rosely. Rosely is a maid now. All the work she used to do for Kyle in the past probably doesn't apply to the girls he has now. I needed to talk to any of the girls one of the leaders had now to get an idea on what to expect from Damien.

I walked into the living room. Immediately, I spotted a girl around my age. She had fiery red curly hair and green eyes.

"Hello!" I smiled. I approached her as slowly as possible.

She turned around to look at me, quickly shaking her head.

Scared of what happened yesterday, I quickly turned around to run. Last time I tried to talk to one of the girls it ended badly for me. What was I thinking coming back down here?! I needed to go now but once I was going to start running back... I bumped into a chest.

"Going somewhere?" Kyle asked.

Oh, yay! My least favorite leader.

"Back to my room" I answered.

Don't make any eye contact.

"Did I give you permission to talk to Jessica?" He asked me.

I shook my head, raising an eyebrow "No. Did I have to ask?"

"Yes. She's my girl. I know you're new and all but I won't hesitate to file a complaint to Damien. The second he receives one... you're dead" He grinned.
