Amber was one of my good friends.
We were always laughing with each other.
But she was much
smarter,
more althletic,
and
blind to my sadness.
I was more
suicidal,
much quieter,
and
better at concealing
my true emotions.
No matter what happened, Amber kept me on my feet.
I'm sorry we couldn't have been friends sooner.
We did go to the same elementary school.
We didn't have much in common then, but
you managed to keep me alive.
Maybe someday we'll meet again when
both our times have ended. Even though you
were my reason to live, it's time for me to let go.
Amber, you were my best friend. Friends now and forever.
I wish you the best of luck in life.
Smile on,
your best friend
