We hide our emotions in our heads,
holding our thought to ourselves.
Our hearts have grown to heal the wounds
that have been caused by the pain throughout time.
While red may symbolize love, it also is the color of blood.
The drops of blood continue to fall unless we take action to stop it.
Just like the blood, our emotions will stayed bottled up
unless we let them out into the open.
Until the emotions can run free,
we are stuck tormenting ourselves
with the countless possibilities and scenarios.
There is no way to hold in your emotions
and be able to survive the pain
of keeping them bottled up.
Someone is out there who will help
deal with the releasing of said feelings.
Just prepare yourself for when you decide
you no longer need to hold back.
As someone once said,
"Let it go, and you will finally be free from captivity."
