---flashback---

"Tag! You're it!" I shouted to Nate as I ran as fast as I could away from him.

We were in 8th grade, in our place. Playing tag like we were 6 again.

"I'm going to get you Cal!" He yelled behind me. I felt him getting closer.

"Not today Nathaniel!" I shouted, using his full name. I climb up our tree and went to a thick branch, hiding.

"Oh Cal, I'll find you." He said, his voice becoming louder.

I sneezed quietly, but loud enough for him to hear.

"Found you!" He said, jumping onto the branch I was on.

"Dang it!" I shouted, trying to escape.

He grabbed my waist and pinned me against the tree.

"N-Nate what are you doing." I asked, his face getting closer.

"This." And the distance was closed.

The kiss didn't last long, but it was a damn good first kiss.

"There, now we both had our first kiss." He pecked my lips and started climbing down the tree.

I stood there, breathless.

"You're it!" I heard him shout, and I was back into reality.

---flashback over---

"Cally!" I heard people shout. I look up and see everyone staring at me.

"What?" I asked looking around.

"I called on you. What's 986 times 4." Ms. Clark smirked.

"3944." I said, after two minutes.

"Very good. Now, I would like you to pay attention." I nodded and went back into my thoughts.

--After class--

I basically ran out of class, not wanting myself to die of boredom.

As I was running, I crashed into someone.

"Sorry!" I shouted, picking up everything I dropped.

"It's fine Cally." I looked up and saw Brian's face.

"Oh, Brian." I put a piece of hair behind my ear.

"That's me." He chuckled. I smiled at his laugh.

"Come on idiot." I put all my stuff in one hand and grabbed his hand.

We both walked and talked until we reached my locker.

"You know you don't have to walk me to my locker EVERY time." I open my locker and he leans against the locker next to it.

"I know, but I like to." He looks at my locker.

I grabbed my stuff for science and shut the locker.

I saw Bridget walk by, and she glared at me and Brian.

"What happened with you and Bridget?" I ask him as I see her walk into the math room.

"Oh." He turns around where I'm looking and looks back at me, "we dated for a little while until I caught her cheating on me." He shrugged.

"She's a bitch." We laughed.

"She really is, but she never caught on that I didn't want her back."
