Chapter 20

Nicki's Pov, The Next Morning

I wake up in Drake's embrace and smile. He's messed up plenty of times, but I love him more than anything. I pecked his face over and over until I saw him smile. "Good morning Aub." I whispered.

"Moring hun." He answered sitting up. "I'm gonna go make breakfast." He said getting up and going into the bathroom. I wait until he gets out, then I go into the bathroom and do my thing.

I get out and change into some sweats and a crop top. I'll have a lazy day today. I walked towards Bri's room and her door was wide open. "Bri?" I called out. She wasn't in her room.

Soon I heard the door behind me open and I see Sabrina walking back towards her room. "Baby are you okay?" I asked as she plopped onto her bed.

"I'm not feeling good. At all." she mumbled into her pillow. I carefully flipped her over so that she was on her back. I felt her forehead and she was burning up.

"My poor baby." I frowned. "I'll be back." I said leaving the room and going downstairs. "Drake I'll be right back. Bri has a fever, so I'm gonna go to the store and get her a few things."

"Okay baby. Be back soon and I'll take care of her." Drake answered pecking my lips. I nodded and left.

Drake's Pov

I put the toast, eggs, and bacon, on one plate, and some oatmeal in a separate bowl. I carefully walked up the stairs and into Bri's room. "Hey dad." she mumbled staring at the ceiling.

"Hey baby. Sit up, I have your breakfast." I said setting on her lap once she was sitting up.

"Thanks dad." she said. Her voice was pretty scratchy.

"Does your throat hurt?" I asked sitting next to her and turning on the tv.

"Yeah... can you put it on Bad Girls Club?" She asked before taking a bite out her bacon. I chuckled and put it on.

Nicki's Pov

I walked into Walmart with Candi by my side. I picked her up on the way so I could have some help. "We need to get some tea." I stated looking around.

"Oh my lord." I turn around to see a teenage boy standing there with wide eyes. "Nicki I love you so much." He spoke lowly.

"Thank you barb. I love you too." I said hugging him. We took a picture and I finished up.

"Hold up this is so cute!" I squealed picking up this pink and fluffy rabbit.

"Bri would love it." Candi said smiling at me. I put it into the basket, checked out, and got back into the car.

"Do you want me to drop you off?" I asked Candi as I backed up from the parking spot.

"Nah it's fine. I'll hang out with y'all and help take care of Bri." she said. I nodded and turned up the radio and 'Take Care' (by Rihanna and Drake) started playing and Candi and I were HYPE!

"IF YOU LET MEEEE HERE'S WHAT I'LL DOOO!" I yelled/sang.

"I'LL TAKE CARE OF YOOOUUU!" Candi finished. We cracked up as we pulled up in front of the house.

I fixed the tea and grabbed the rabbit and went upstairs. "I'm gonna fix some soup." Candi said staying in the kitchen.

"Okay." I said walking up the stairs carefully so I wouldn't spill any tea. "Hai guys." I said walking into the room.

"Hi mama." Bri said in a raspy voice. I handed her the tea and the rabbit and her eyes lit up. "Thanks mama!" she said clutching onto the toy. I smiled and got into the bed with them.

"Oh snap BGC All Stars?!" I said looking at the tv.

"Yup!" Bri said looking at the tv too.

"I'll let y'all watch tv. I have to talk to some people." Drake said getting up.

"Okay. Oh and don't be surprised when you see Candi downstairs." I answered.

"Okay babe."

10 Minutes Later.

"Hey y'all." Candi said walking into the room with three bowls on a tray.

"Hai Miss Candi." Bri said turning towards her.

"Wassup Can?" I giggled.

"I brought us some soup. OH SNAP BGC ALL STARS?!" she yelled once she was laying next to Bri.

"You ain't gotta yell dang!" I cackled.

Drake's Pov

I was in Nicki and I's room booking a flight to Trinidad. I really want to make to up to Nicki by making her happy. And what's a better to do that then to take her to the place where she was born. I'm gonna surprise Nicki and Bri tomorrow.
