Ruth's POV

xxxxxxxxx

"Ruth. RUTH! Wake up!"

I wake up with a start, my head darting around the room, looking for the source of the voice. The voice was male, but it was strange, as if he were talking through walkie-talkie. It also sounded harsh and threatening. It must have been a dream. There is no one here, and the security system didn't go off. I'm alone. I'm safe.
I get out of bed, and walk to my bathroom. I make a face as I look in the mirror. I look.... well, I look like shit.
I hop in the shower, and wash my hair. I rub the shampoo in, and wash it off again. I look down at the purple bubbles washing around my feet. It sort of looks like a galaxy. "Shit." I say out loud. My dye is washing out. I condition my hair, then hop out to dry myself off. I look in the mirror. My dye is definantly washing out. Its a lighter shade of purple, and you can see the roots going back to platinum blonde. I'll have to buy more dye. I dry myself off, brush my hair, and do my makeup. I sigh, staring into my reflection. Something doesn't feel right. I'm almost.... Afraid. Why am I afraid? I walk out the door, and stop, staring at the two dirt bikes leaning against the shed. I've ridden them before... (And wrecked it, to say the least) Should I try? I decide against it. Best be safe. I dial Dylan's number, my galaxy nails clicking against the phone screen.
"Hello?" I hear him say. I laugh silently to myself. I can tell by his voice by his voice he just woke up. "Hey Dylan," I say. "Ruth? Its 8:30 why are you calling me?" He whinges. "Its not that early. Can you give me a lift to Coles?" He groans, and I can hear him getting out of bed. "Sure. Whatever. I'll be there in ten. And by the way Ash is with me." I laugh at how annoyed he sounds, and the fact he's probably waking Ash up as well to drive to Coles with us. "Thanks! See ya then." He groans again, and hangs up the phone. I laugh to myself. Dylan is my ex, but we're cool. We broke up because we both wanted just to be friends. I pull a roll up from my back pocket, along with my lighter. I take a hit from the blunt and lean back against the door. Ten minutes later he pulls up, looking like he just got out of bed, and Ash half asleep in the passenger side. "Get in." He said tiredly. "And hurry up, I want to go back to sleep." I hop in, rolling my eyes. "Your always tired." I complain. He scowls. "Well, your always annoying." He replies like a 3rd grader. "Shut up, bitch. Just drive." I smirk. "You two sound like an old married couple." Ash mutters, as Dylan drives off down the dirt driveway. The mud dried over night, and I wonder when our next rainfall will happen, knowing the area we live in, it won't be to far away.

I look for the purple dye I use, but to my disappointment, there out. How the hell are they all out?! How many people use this shit in this tiny ass town besides me?! Fuck it. I'll use a darker shade.
When Dylan drops me back off at my house, I walk back up the stairs and immediately do my hair. I get out of the shower, and dry my hair. It looks nice, its about four shades darker, like purply black if that makes sense. I like it. I walk into my room in my undies, and boot up the game. I cuddle into my fluffy black duvet. I nearly scream when I go to my save file. My file has been renamed "YOUR TURN" and "BEN" is right back where it started.
