Rue's POV

"You brought the wrong one." EJ said, gesturing in my direction. The two that brought us here don't even glance at him. "Two girls I've only ever seen once from a distance at night? And you honestly expect me to recognise them both in the dark?" The masked boy asks, his agitated voice muffled by the white mask. "And what does it matter, anyway?! We've brought one of them, we might as well just kill them both!"
Fuck.
I whimper slightly, which causes an amused response from a few of the boys staring down at Charlie and I. "So what exactly are we doing? Does the Master know about this?" The clown asked aggressively, sitting up and glaring at the two that brought us here. "No, and its going to stay like that." They boy wearing the mouthguard says in a thick German accent, uncrossing his arms, and turning to look at the clown. "I wonder what would happen if he found out?" He laughs a manically, and stands up, turning to face the other boy. The boy wearing the mouthguard stepped forward angrily. "Shut up, Jack! Y-your a part of this t-to..." He he twitched, cracking his neck to the side, causing him to stutter. "...You'll be punished along with the rest of us." He finished. The clown crossed his arms, smirking. "Why would I get punished as well, if I only found out about this now? If I only walked in on you and Masky dumping these two here a couple minutes ago?" He smiles cockily at the boy wearing the mouthguard, laughing strangely at the end. The boy becomes visibly angry, taking a step forward and grabbing a fist full of Jack's shirt. "Whoa, cut it out!" Masky said, stepping forward. The boy lets go of Jack angrily, stepping back. "Back off, Toby! If you two are going to fight, you can fight later, but not here! Not here where we could draw any unwanted attention to this room." Jack stepped back as well, turning to leave. "Fine. I won't say anything about this to the Master, I just don't want any part in this." He walked out of the large room angrily. The other seven boys stared cooly at Charlie and I for a few moments, until the boy wearing the orange hoodie spoke, in voice so deep it must be altered with a mouth piece, it sounds to droned out and almost electric. "So what are we going to do with them?" It sounded more like a statement then a question, he seemed to be looking at Charlie as he said it, but it was hard to tell because of the mask. "Until we have the other one, I think we should wait to kill them." E.J nodded in response, all though the other five didn't seem to like the idea very much. "We'll throw them in the Isolation Room until we get a hold of the other one." E.J says, standing up. Even just the way he stands is inhuman. He is unnaturally tall, inbetween 6'8 or 7'3, he is lean and muscular, his back slightly hunched, and his head tilted slightly to the left. When he spoke, his voice was gravely snake like. His empty eye sockets seemed to burn into my soul, making me feel small and vulnerable. "So what difference would it make if we waited to kill them? Its a fucking waste of time. I say we bring 'em down to the Chain Up now, slaughter them and give the left overs to Smile and Grinny." The boy with the smiled carved into his face says. My eyes widen, and I stare horrified at him. EJ shakes his head, and the boy wearing the orange hoodie walks over to Charlie, and without hesitation, roughly drags her up by her hair, and slings her over his shoulder. She resists at first, but its clearly no use. Even if she did get free from him, there was no where to run. He turns to look back at the others, then turns and heads for the door. The smiling boy stands up. "Where are you bringing her? The Chain Up?" He asks, sounding a bit to eager. The hooded boy doesn't even turn around. "Isolation Room." The smiling boy makes a disgusted noise, and an almost judging look. EJ stands up and walks over to me, I shrink back from him, I still have bruises from our last encounter. He grabs the ropes around my wrist, and pulls me up to standing, I quickly take about three steps backward, but he grabs my waist and throws me over his shoulder. Charlie and I are brought to a room somewhere within the mansion. Its a decent sized room. Theres an old, dusty desk sitting in the far right corner with a fancy, old fashioned gothic style mirror on it. In the left wall of the room is a single bed. Its dusty, moth eaten mattress looks far from comfortable. Theres a tiny wooden stool against the wall opposite the door, and in the far left corner of the room, theres a little unreachable window, which would be on ground level to the outside. The ceiling is high, so probably no escape through the tiny window. Besides, theres thin rusty bars over it anyway. The two that brought us here slam the door, and I hear the heavy clunk of the deadbolt. I turn to look at Charlie, who's breathing heavily and staring wide eyed at where the hooded boy stood just before. I take a deep breath, and stand up.
Stay strong.
I think.
We'll get out of this. Don't break down. Stay strong... Stay strong...
My legs shake as I take a step towards the door. I start crying. My walls came tumbling down, and I stood in front of the iron door with my hands buried in my face, crying my eyes out. How did all of this start anyway..?
