Two Different Feelings.

Chapter 1 - The Bet

                                 I have just officially heard about the bet that everyone was talking and doing. Sitting with my best friend Sammy and her boyfriend Jayson, we overheard a few people talking about this bet named as Take it or lose it. Both Sammy and I traded looks. How could someone start a bet as to fucking someone to be in the prize group? Sammy and Jayson was thinking about just losing it together until we heard another comment about the bet that two virgins cannot lose it together. My thoughts on this bet? That it was stupid, I would at least be put at the high school's joke than go fuck someone that doesn't have my heart. I looked over to the popular kids which were all sitting at the table across from us and spotted Lucas. Lucas was the top king in that group, everybody wanted to be his girlfriend or best friend but his taste is in the type of girls that look like models. Like I said before, just put me as the high school's joke, cause I am not losing my virginity now. 

                       Lunch was over and I walked with Sammy to our lockers when we spotted Kimmy with Jayson. Sammy let out a gasp and Kimmy just winked at her. Can you believe this? Jayson is willing to cheat on Sammy just to be at the top group. I hugged her and felt her sobbing on my new shirt but I'm willing to ruin it for her. At health class, the teacher handed out condoms to all the boys for some odd reason and the guys started hooting and laughing, I understand now. To think that these girls are so easy to fall into the arms of this assholes is what makes me laugh. 

"Hey Isabel" 

"Oh hi James" 

"did you hear that now they are changing the bet a little?" 

"great, so now two virgins can lose it together right?" 

"ha, no, they are setting people up together, the flyers go out today." 

He ran away to meet up with his girlfriend, who is not a virgin and took his virginity away freshman year. I grabbed my bookbag and walked towards my locker when I saw Jayson. 

"Had fun?" 

"Hell yes, didn't know sex felt that good" 

you cheated on Sammy, you know that right?" 

"I didn't cheat on her, we broke up once we heard about the bet." 

"what?" 

"yes, we broke up once we heard that we couldn't have sex together" 

"so you would've rather have sex with Kimmy, than with Sammy." 

"Kimmy knows what she's doing" 

"yeah cause she had sex before" 

"okay then, Isabel just go lose it before you get put as the high school joke." 

"pfft, rather be called that." 

                      I haven't heard from Sammy ever since she saw Jayson with Kimmy. Drooling over Lucas, a huge bang startled my thoughts. Travis was running through the halls, screaming, hooting and banging on lockers. He looked very happy for a guy who got dumped a week ago. 

"TOOK IT!!" He was just really happy for some reason. 

  I saw him giving everyone high fives but when I looked back at Lucas, he was already looking at me which made me blush extremely. Sammy came up behind me with a huge smile on her face, she opened my locker to grab my brush, I gasped when I noticed a hicky on her neck. 

"YOU LOST IT!?" 

"dang it Isabel, you make such a big deal." 

"yeah, but with Travis? Why?" 

"he's cute, and uh I was partnered up to lose it with him." 

"wait, who am I partnered with?" 

She shrugged her shoulders and Travis came running towards her. He kissed her very strong looking and walked away with her. How could a boy like that, uh be all glad that he lost it to her. Well I guess she is very pretty but he's travis, he's part of the prize group. I looked once more at Lucas but he was talking to Sammy and Travis. During class, I just kept thinking about who could I be partnered up to have sex with. My thoughts weren't in social studies which tends to be my favorite subject but I wasn't into it that much today. I walked out of the class the second the bell rang and headed towards my locker when I noticed a paper taped to it. Yes, it was the end of the day and now it was time to see how I was partnered with. I ripped the paper off and scrolled my finger all the way down to my name, once my finger hit Isabel Mendez, I slid my finger to the right where it hit a boys name. I couldn't believe my eyes, I felt as if my heart dropped thirty steps down. Sammy came running towards me with a huge smile. 

"Who is it? Who's the lucky fella?" 

She snatched the paper away but I stood extremely frozen. Her eyes grew to the name that was right next to mine.
