"So, where are you taking me tonight?" I ask, swinging our hands back and forth. I'm dressed in a little teal dress and little black flats. He was walking me somewhere, him dressed up in a little suit.

"A secret. I wanted to go somewhere special before you went to collage. I've been planning this for almost a week now." He leans down and kisses my cheek, causing me to blush.

"Well, I just hope we're not over dressed, I keep seeing people around us watching as we walk by. It's not like I'm not going to see you during collage, I'm going to the community collage downtown." We take a right down the sidewalk.

"Yeah, I know. It just won't be the same, not being able to see you all the time. Oh, are you going to the homecoming game?" I normally don't go to the games.

"I might if you're going. Aren't they doing that game on that Saturday for the past players? Are you going to that?"

"Yeah, I was hoping you would come with me. I was talking to some of the other players and they're bring their girlfriends. So you wanna go as my plus one." He smiles down at me as he asks, turning into the park. I guess we're going to the park?

"I guess I can come, I would have to make sure I do t have homework." We start walking down the sidewalk still, watching the other park goers. "Why are we at the park? Aren't we over dressed for the park?" I ask.

"You can't be over dressed for the park, it's the park. Plus, I wanted to take you out on a picnic and still make it feel like a date. Come one, I'm going to make you the one of the best dates you've ever been on." He squeezes my hand, pulling me off the sidewalk. "First we have to get to the picnic."

"I'm so glad I didn't wear heels, other wise this could in with you carrying me home." We both laugh, but he stops and does exactly what I was talking about. He puts one arm under my knees and the other whims my back. Before I can protest, he picks me up off the ground and I wrap my arms around his neck.

"You mean like this?" He laughs, continuing to carry me up the little hill.

"This wasn't what I meant. Just don't drop me." He laughs and does the action as if he was going to drop me. I squealed, tightening my hold on his neck. He laughs harder, coming up to a little blanket on the ground.

"Not nice. Now can you put me down, I know you're going to try and drop me again." He puts me down and shakes his head. I smile at him and sit down in the ground. It was a blue blanket, soft with little a little bit of fur on it. There a picnic basket in the far right corner, right next to me. "So whatcha put in this magic basket of yours?" I lean over and open the basket. "Mmmmm, I see strawberries, watermelon, sandwiches, sparkling water?" I pull out the bottle, giving Chris a questionable look.

"Since we can't drink, I still wanted to feel as if we're have a drink. My mom gave me the idea before I left. Creative isn't it?" He takes the bottle from me and reaches back into the basket. He pulls out two wine glasses, opens the bottle, and fills the glasses half way up. He hands one to me. "My lady."

After about an hour of drinking the water and food, we're telling stories and acting like idiots. "So you tripes on a rock and he fell on top of you. Haha, that had to have been so awkward, what did he do when he fell?" Chris asks, taking another sip.

"He just told me he liked me and kissed my cheek, thinking it wasn't a big deal. Keep in mind that this was at day care and before I moved. One of these days I'm going to find him and asked if he remembers any of that." I take my head of Chris' shoulder and stand up. "We need to do something, even if it's just taking a walk." I take off my shoes and start walking away.

"Oh no you don't." I hear him start to get up. I drop my shoes and start running down the hill. "Really, are we going to do this." I turn my head around, watching him take his jacket off. He starts running toward me, making me start funning faster.

"I bet you can't get me." I yell, trying not to trip over my own feet. I start breathing faster and faster and I try to keep my speed, listening to his footsteps start to get closer and closer.

"Well, looks like I just did." I hear behind me. I turn my head around a little, but it was enough to make me lose my footing. I fall backwards, looking up just in time to see Chris to try and stop. He fails, landing right on top of me. Just like it did in my story.

"Well, that didn't go as planned." He says. His face really close to mine. He looks down at me, with a look as if he's contemplating doing something. I was about to push him off me, but he leans down and kisses my cheek. "Katharine Jones, I am in love with you. So much that everything you smile my heart flutters. I want you to remember this when you go back to school, I want you to remember that I'm here for you no matter what. And I just want you to know that I love you." He leans back down kisses me on the lips this time. The feeling of his warmth against me makes me love this man even more.

(First week of school is over and I already have week end homework. Yay honors and upperclassman classes! *rolls eyes* But yesterday, aka Friday, was my first football game as marcher, even if we just played in the stands.

I got a pride pin! That's a big deal considering I'm a first year, that was the first opportunity and there are seniors that Janet gotten them. :)

A rating would be much appreciated
