The episode opens with shots of a cathedral, two Sentinels chained to some rocks, and a sign hanging from two of the spires displaying "LAB SPACE FOR RENT, LEASED. RSCH012 - CABIN FEVER". Inside the Cathedral, JCJenson scientists are running around, working on various tasks.
Dr. Ridley: Science holding strong, sir! (dramatically) Math.
At the back of the Cathedral, Nori is shown to be suspended in the air by chains. Nori's ID card floats by. Nori looks up at with a broad, sinister grin, her eyes yellow, implying that the Absolute Solver is possessing her.
Dr. Ridley: Dr Chambers!
Mitchell: (gasps) O-Oh, no- I-I-I'm not...
An intern, Mitchell, has accidentally worn the uniform of a scientist called Dr. Chambers, causing the other scientists to call upon him. He looks at his name tag on his uniform, and it indeed says Dr. Chambers. Mitchell looks over by the hanging rack to see his actual uniform and his name tag, which still reads "MITCHELL (INTERN)" and hangs on a coat rack. He turns back to Dr. Ridley.
Mitchell: (whispers, pointing at his name tag) Is this guy important?
Claw-like tentacles break the chains that were tied to Nori. One of the tentacles throws a spear at Mitchell, which hits his clipboard. Another scientist activates a machine that resembles a summoning circle, causing Nori to fall to the floor and collapse. Nori's tentacles try to grab Mitchell, but glitch out and disappear back into Nori.
Dr. Ridley: Chambers! (Dr. Ridley throws Mitchell Yeva's and Bob's ID cards.) Get 48 and 25!
Mitchell: Right, so... (chuckles nervously) This a doctor-specific thing...?
Dr. Ridley pulls out a crucifix and walks towards Nori to use it on her.
Mitchell: 'Cause I'm on it!
Mitchell runs out of the cathedral doors, fumbling with the ID card. He looks back at the Cathedral to see Nori, at an awkward angle, staring sinisterly at him, before the doors slam shut. The two Sentinels screech at Mitchell as he runs past into a different section of Cabin Fever Labs. Mitchell ends up in a hallway with lockers containing the test subjects of Cabin Fever Labs on one side. Some ID numbers include 029 - Amda, 006 - Riid, 048 - Yeva, 024 - Triss, 019 - Aatt, and 002 - Nori. Mitchell opens up Yeva's locker to find her chained up, playing Tetris in Russian. Mitchell double-checks Yeva's ID card and shrugs while Yeva rolls her eyes and bangs her head against the locker wall. Mitchell released Yeva from her chain and continued to find Bob's locker until he found the one labeled 025-Bob. He opened the locker and saw Bob, who was also chained up. He also double-checks Bob's ID card and starts to unchain Bob.
Mitchell: Alright, you two, I don't know what is happening, but some purple-haired drone has started to act like a demon.
After mentioning Nori, both Bob and Yeva realize the situation.
Bob: Take us to her now.
Mitchell: That's what I was doing...
Mitchell, Bob, and Yeva run back to the Cathedral, with Yeva's hand being pulled by Mitchell. Annoyed with him pulling her, Yeva then pulls her hand away while lightly slapping Mitchell's hand. Mitchell looks at where the two sentinels were chained, but they appear to have escaped. Mitchell then bursts through the cathedral door, breathless. Dr. Ridley is at the back of the Cathedral, crouched next to a powered-off Nori, the crucifix jammed into her broken visor.
