(A/N: While all character here are indeed drone, there may be indication of "bloody" mess and while I not sure how it works for people who read stuff, just a little heads up for this chapter)

The scene shows the colony outside. Two drones, Ghot and D, are coming out of the colony. However, unlike how they act, D seems a bit more... on the edge, while Ghot looks worried. None of the two spoke to each other for a while until Ghot decided to break the silence.

Ghot: D? Are you alright?

D:......

Ghot: (Worried) Alright...

They continue to walk further into the dark winter area until D stops both in their tracks. Confused, Ghot looked at D, only to see D turn around and finally say something.

D: Ghot... please be honest. Did you take me as stupid?

Ghot: (Shocked) W-what! No, I never said-

D: (Shush Ghot) Stop. Save your excuse and understand that while I may be shy and less independent of the group, that doesn't mean one can take advantage of that! There is a reason why I trust N and his friend more than my teammate....

Ghot: D-

D: I legit thought I found another disassemble drone that was friendly to me, but it turns out I was friending a drone that I was tasked to disassemble, and even then, I don't feel comfortable killing it. What would my old teammates have said, when they were alive, about this whole situation...

Ghot: Okay, I'll cut to the chase. At first... I pretended to learn more about your kind and see if I could find any weaknesses, but ever since we've been hanging out more, I realized you just happened to be like us; we have emotions and personalities, unlike what I was told about you guys. I changed my plan to see if I could help you with that oil issue.

D: What made you decide to change your plan somehow after?

Ghot: While I learned that you are like to kill us for oil, what changed my mind about helping instead? I see how you reacted when you were about to be killed by the Wendigo drone thing. The way you show fear is unlike any drone from the colony describing you, and knowing my personality, I really can't see you die there.

D stares at Ghot but sees how Ghot is saying something that hurts her. Still, with understandable reasoning, D decides to speak.

D: Ghot... from the lies I have been fed, thinking you were pretending to be my friend at first, but from what you said before, and considering how we have been helping each other, well, you helping me more, I may forgive you for this once, but I am not going to forget about this. Besides, had you told me earlier you were a cool worker drone with crazy power when you faced that cryptid drone, I likely would have spared you because, let's face it, if the combination of me and my teammate couldn't beat that Wendigo drone. Still, you can; what chances do I even have to "kill" you?

Ghot: Sorry, I'm just afraid of how you would have reacted if you knew I was a worker drone, and I'm afraid of our friendship ruin because of either my colony or your company reacting to the bond we made. It was even worse when we became best friends to each other.

D: (Sigh) You're right, just no more lies. I don't like that.

Ghot and D stand at night for a while, not saying anything. Ghot breaks the silence by asking a question.
