Chapter 13

Melanie POV

My birthday was in 3 weeks and today I was going out with my cousin Yasmin to find my outfits for my sweet 16 and Yasmin was going to look for her outfit also. We were leaving at 1 and it was now 12 so we got up and started getting ready. 

"Angelo is meeting up with us and Meech is tagging along as a friend" I said while winging my eyeliner 

"okay that's fine i'm ready when you are" she said standing up from my bed

I stood up also and she went and got the keys to my soon to be jeep and we drove to the mall.When we got there I texted Lo and asked him where they were and he said the food court so we made our way there.

"Hey Lo and Meech" I said sitting down and Yasmine sat next to me 

"Hey Mel, didn't know you had a twin" Lo said 

"Very funny I don't have one this is my cousin Yasmin, Yasmin this is Angelo and Demetrius or Lo and Meech" I said while introducing everyone

"Damn just going to put my government out there" Meech said cocking his head to the side 

"Boy shut up acting like I screamed it out" I said while rolling my eyes

"Dang you just gonna let her talk to you like that you whipped my guy" Lo said while laughing 

"She not talking to me she know how to act" He said 

"I am talking to you but I cam to shop not to argue so let's go inside Forever 21" I said standing up and grabbing Yasmin's hand.

We went in and I found a few dresses and skirts and me and Yasmin went into the dressing rooms while Meech and Lo sat outside. We both tried on a dress and walked outside to show them. 

"Yasmin the dress is cute ya look good but Mel I would go with like one of those skirts that go past your knee" Lo said while staring at Yasmin

"Very good observation seeing that you're staring at Yasmin but I'll buy the skirts I have in the dressing room and order some tops from fashion nova or something we can go" I said turning on my heels to go back to my dressing room. We walked around the mall a little more and Meech had laid his arm around my shoulder.

"You know friends don't walk like this right" I said looking up at him with a smirk 

"We more than friends stop playing" He said while looking back at me 

"I don't know who told you that" I said with a little sass

"You gonna stop playing" He pulled me to the side and kissed me and my dumb self kissed back

"Ayy snap you saw it first they back at it again!" I heard Lo yell 

I pulled away and flipped him off 

"Yasmin are you ready to go?" I said while walking beside her I had noticed her and Lo were pretty close walking together 

"Yeah don't forget to text me Lo I will see you guys soon i'm assuming from what just happened" She said laughing 

We walked out and Yasmin drove us back home.
