Melanie POV

I've only been here a day and I already have a bunch of homework but thank god I'm almost finished. I looked at the clock and it's time for me to wait for Kailyn at her bus stop,I slid on my Nike slides and walked to the bus stop and waited as my iPhone went off

Me:We can do it together I'll FaceTime you when I get back in the house k?

Kailyn's bus pulled up and Kailyn got off

"Loni!!" Kailyn yelled
"Hey Kay how was your first day"
"It's was good the people are really nice"

Then I started tuning her out as she kept going on and on all the way until we got back to our house,we went in and I ran upstairs and I got all my math stuff then fixed myself up a lil bit, I can't be looking a mess. I pressed call and he soon answered after a few rings.

"Hi" I said while smiling
"Hey" he said while returning the smile
"Ok let's get started, what was the page number again?"
"uhh 301" he said while we both flipped to it
"We only have to do the even problems right?"
"That's right"

We started discussing the problems until Kailyn walked in.

"Mel can you fix me something to eat" She asked
"Can you knock or..."
"Aww is that your little sister?"Meech asked
"Who said that?" Kailyn asked while trying to look at my phone
"It's my friend" I say
"Oo it's a boy"
"Chill just come get this snack" I say while picking my phone up and walking downstairs.

"What do you want?" I ask her
"A warm honeybun with apple juice"
"Ok I'll call you when it's ready" I said while she skipped out the kitchen
"Excuse my crazy sister" I said getting back to my FaceTime call
"She good we were finished anyway"
"Ok good because I was tired of doing it"
"Off homework how was your first day here in Detroit"
"It was cool I guess I met some cool people already"
"You're talking about me right?"
"Nah" I said while laughing
"Really"
"I'm playing you're like the only person I truly met other than some boy I bumped into in the hallway named Darío" I said while I heard the garage door open
"Aight cool"
"Yea my mom is here so I'll see you tomorrow"
"Bye" he said while pressing the end button

I have to say he's very charming I can't say I like him because I just met him.

"Kailyn come get your snack" I yelled to her
"Coming" She responded

As she was walking in Kailyn had just entered the kitchen

"Hey girls" my mom said
"Hey mommy" We both said
"How was your day?"She asked
"Good I made a lot of friends and the teacher really nice and Mel was talking to a boy"Kailyn blurted out
"Hmm what boy" My mom asked me
"It was just a boy I met at school and we were doing our math homework together"
"Is he cute" She asked me while smirking
"Maa can we not" I whined
"Do you have a picture" She asked

Then I showed her the screenshot I took of us on FaceTime

"Yes baby girl you know how to choose" She said
"Goodnight Ma" I said while laughing and making my way upstairs. I showered and put on a pair of dance shorts and a tanktop and went to sleep.

Meech POV

I'm so glad we did FaceTime she is so pretty. After we got off I texted Lo and them about her,Darío said she seems cool and he already met her and Lo didn't even know who I was talking about.We were texting but she said she was going to sleep, I would send her a goodnight text but I think it's too soon.I'm just gonna invite her to the mall and maybe Buffalo Wild Wings this weekend.

~The Next Day~

It's school already I really don't feel like going but I really wanna see Mel so I guess I'll just go. I took my shower then put on my red Detroit raised sweatshirt with khakis Red Toro 4 and my Gucci belt then I was on my way to school

"Aye Fam" I said as I sat at the table
"Wassup"Darío said
"I just really don't feel like being here today"
"Well your girl just walked in"
"That's not my girl"
"Yet"
"What"
That's not your girl yet"
"Whatever" I said while waving at Mel she looked really good today

Melanie POV

I had woken up and had already took care of all my hygiene. I put on a black crop tank with a red baseball jersey button up,black leggings and my Toro 4.I took a picture in my mirror then went to catch my bus,when I walked in the cafeteria I saw Meech talking to Darío and he smiled and waved and I returned the gesture while sitting down,then Darío walked up to me and sat down

"Hey Mel" Darío said
"Hi"
"Let's play a game shall we"
"Ok what game"
"Q&A I'm gonna ask you questions and you answer"
"Ok..."
"What's your hobby"
"I mostly sing and I dance a bit too"
"Cool we need to pair up one day but you like Meech"
"I think he's attractive, I can't necessarily like him because I just met him"
"Thanks for playing gotta get to class"
"You're weird but bye" As he left Meech was coming my way
"Good Morning Mel"
"Morning Meech"
"Can I ask you a question"
"You just did" I said while laughing
"Really?"
"Ok go ahead"
"I was wondering if we could chill Saturday at the mall and then get something to eat?"
"That sounds fun,I'll go"
"Ok bye"
"Bye"

This weekend should be fun!
