Melanie POV
It was now Monday and time to go back to school the only thing that would make this better is if me and Mariah had all our classes together. I got up and just grabbed some clothes (outfit on side or top) and put my hair up in a high ponytail. I grabbed my bookbag and pink North face and walked towards the bus stop listening to The PinkPrint.

When I got to school then I walked into the cafeteria and found Mariah and Lo sitting at a table.
"Hey guys"I said while taking my headphones out
"Hey babe, you feel better?" Mariah asked me
"Better than ever" I said pulling a fake smile
"He's heading over here do you want me to stop him?" Lo asked me
"It's fine no need to be petty" I said
He walked over and we instantly made eye contact
"Mel can we talk?" He asked
"No I don't think there's anything to talk about" I said
"Just give me a minute" He said
"I'll be back" I said towards Mariah
I got up and walked towards the hallway with him following behind
"What would you like to say"
"I'm sorry I realize that i went a little over the top and I was wondering if we could go back to how it was before that misunderstanding"
"Sorry but no we can't the fact that we aren't dating yet and you just automatically assumed that says alot to me so I think we should have a bit of space from each other" I said
" I understand we can still be friends right"
"Of course I have no problem with that" I say as the bell tings and I begin my walk to my first block.

The day was finally over and I was now on my way back home. When I got in my mom was in the kitchen so I sat down and talked to her,
"Hey mommy" I said while kissing her cheek
"Hey so your sister wants to have a sleepover for her birthday and I'll be out of town so can you wtch over it for me?"
"Of course I can, can Mariah come over and help me"
"That's fine thank you so much"
"No problem'
I went upstairs to get changed for dance. I put on a pair of black dance shorts and a pink long sleeve flowy top with black mid calf socks and I pulled a pair of sweatpants over the shorts. I was going to take a master class at the studio and I was so excited. When I got there I went over to Mariya who was talking with a girl with blondish hair.
"Hey Riya" I said while walking up to her
"Hey Loni, this is Jai" Riya said
"Hi Jai you're so pretty, I'm Melanie by the way" I said while smiling at her
"Nice to meet you are you here for the master class?"
"I am actually"
We all continued talking until it was time for the clas to start. Jai, Riya, and I were all picked for the video (for the first group Riya is on the right and Melanie is on the left)
After the class I exchanged numbers with Jai and stopped by Sonic and got a burger,mozzarella sticks, and a slushie.
I went home and rested up for the next day of school.
