How the hell did he escape? I thought Justin had him?"Sir Hans." I clenched my fist.
"Good guess my dear. Now, say anything...and I'll make sure everyone dies inside the museum. Along with you and your boyfriend, Àirén [sweetheart]."
I looked around the museum. Everyone was chatting and laughing, but they didn't know that a mafia gang was actually outside, ready to put this place on fire. "You wouldn't dare." I hissed quietly at the phone.
Hans' laughter made me want to explode. I'm starting to hate his laugh. "Oh, I would. So, are you going to excuse yourself and get some fresh air? Or are you going to let me press the red button?"
I started taking deep breaths to calm down. This asshole is going to get it soon. Real soon.
"Hey, Liv? I'm going to go get some fresh air, I feel sick right now." I said, forcing a smile, "What? Are you okay? Do you need something?" She asked.
"No, no. I just feel hot right now. I'm going to get some air, okay?"
She frowned at me but I only smiled a reassuringly. "Hey, it's okay, it's just air." I pinched her cheek playfully. She stuck her tongue out to me and kicked me away while I laughed.
I walked around until a flesh of wall stopped me.
My face dropped as soon as I saw the last person I wanted to speak to right now.
And he was standing in front of me.
I put my phone behind me, "Hello Eliza." I contained myself from smiling at the nickname.
"Hey, Justin." I said, panicking as I kept on looking around in case Hans' men start barging in.
"I wanted to talk to you about what happened," he softly said, "is that okay?" He asks.
"I..."
I gripped on my phone. Feeling nervous. Then, I suddenly thought of what the situation. Anger bubbled up inside of me, "No."
I then excused and squeezed myself out of the crowd.
My heart was still hammering.
Finally reaching the exit, I put my phone on my ear again. "I'm already going, now leave these people alone." I spat, hanging up.
I walked out of the museum, throwing daggers at the man who was already standing and waiting for me outside.
Hans smiled at me, "Miss Elizabeth Hart! Finally good to see you again! You didn't think I would let you get away that easily huh?" He said the last part through his teeth.
Grabbing me roughly, he pushed me to where a black mini van is parked next to mine.
I sighed, feeling tired. "What is it that you really want?" I asked with a whisper. I saw him pout at my expression but threw me inside the van, "Well, we didn't want to spoil the surprise to your boyfriend, right?" He asked sitting down next to me while sliding close the van.
I rolled my eyes, "He's not my boyfriend."
He smirked. "Oh, that's right, he's with Christine." He stated oh so innocently.
I gritted my teeth, "Who the hell is Christine?" I almost exclaimed, almost.
Hans chuckled, "Christine is one of Justin's old...friend." You mean girlfriend?
"She's an incredible girl, couldn't be beaten. But that's what Justin used to love about her. Ah...young love." I clenched my fists. First, he calls Justin my boyfriend. Next, he discusses about his ex girlfriend.
However, I didn't miss the keywords he had spoken: used to love. "What do you mean?" I deadpanned.
Hans grinned, "Perhaps your boyfriend hasn't been truly honest, I mean, he doesn't even trust you, right Àirén?"
I glared at him, "Whatever." I muttered, he laughs and ignored me through the rest of the ride.
I didn't exactly know where we were going, but I guess they're performing another hostage taking. I hate these kinds of criminals that gets that don't get detention without fighting-I think you know what I mean.
