Genevieve
I was watching from afar, looking at the suspicious looking house just by the beach. There were people around at the back I could see that. But instead of enjoying the sun and partying with red cups, I see men loading up boxes in a boat - a ship to be exact.
"What do you think of this?" I asked Weston, who stared with wide eyes at the tank displayed from one of the packages. "These guys are Chinese men, they must be the Chinese mafia."
"Possible," I muttered, "they did took me twice."
"Genevieve," I hear Justin's husky voice at my earpiece, "we're already in formation, I think it's best that you sneak in under the house. That tank doesn't look friendly, along with its friends." I stared at the TNT bombs lying next to the tanks that he was referring to.
"I think I know a way to get in, but it's going to be a little dirty," I paused, "maybe a little swampy."
"You're going to the sewers?" Asked Weston.
I nodded, "The blueprint you gave me showed an underwater tunnel that leads to the basement of the beach house. Another tunnel leads to the sea, and another one leads to a pit." I pointed at the directions for Weston.
"It's too risky that we go under the tunnels, because it's what these people at least expect us to go to. We need something a bit more tactic."
"Like what?"
Turning back to the direction of the beach house, I see a lot of blind spots that we would probably die in. The side of the house had men unloading packages from one car to a cart. Then at the other side looked empty, but they couldn't just leave small areas unguarded if they expected us.
I tried searching for any possible ways to get inside and find my friends, but all I see is dead ends. "Guys, I got nothing."
"We should've planned this before."
"We did, but we didn't expect these many visitors," I retorted to my brother.
"Alright, both of you stop. We'll need to be fast with this; Genevieve, are there anymore spots you can find to get in?"
"I'm blind within this angle, but I do know a lot of dead ends."
"We're going to have to try harder, can you see anything besides soldiers in black?"
"No..." I trailed off, "wait, that gives me an idea."
* * * * *
"This is by far, the worst plan you could've come up with." Livy spat beside me.
"But it worked, now move along."
She only groaned and pulled down her dress uncomfortably, "Where did you even get these dresses?"
I shrug, "I packed it, besides, aren't you the one who love wearing them?"
"Only when they're decent."
I rolled my eyes at her remark, "Just keep going with it."
"Everything fine?"
I elbowed Livy who tried to shift around, "Yes, everything's fine. We got in, those losers were too busy checking us out."
"Good, if anything goes wrong, just-"
I cringed when my earpiece started gurgling, so I reacted and accidently bumped on a house vase. "Wha..." Livy said beside me, getting her earpiece off; I did the same.
"Fuck," I cursed, "this only means one thing."
"What?" Livy asked nervously.
I grumbled, "Someone knows we're here."
"Good for you pumpkin," a voice interrupted.
Bot Livy and I turn to see the person behind us; we both gasp, Livy whimpered.
There stood Gunter with his hands tied, his eyes blindfolded, and his mouth taped. A woman that looked familiar held him, sadly I couldn't pinpoint who this woman was. I was angry as fuck seeing Gunter like that, but where was Fred?
"Who are you?" I asked sternly.
She chuckled, "Nǐ zuì zāogāo de èmèng [your worst nightmare]."
Mm. Chinese.
I smirked, "Zuìhòu yīgè rén duì wǒ shuō, sǐle [the last person who said that to me, died]."
The woman scowled, "If you want to see your friends alive, I suggest you come with me." This time, it was my turn to scowl."I will, if you let this one," I motioned Livy, "leave peacefully."
"What in the fuck are you talking about?" Livy whispered harshly beside me.
"Keep going with it." I whispered back.
"Jīngxì [fine]." Said the Chinese woman.
