They were about to leave the coffee shop when someone called him.
"Mr. Mallik", Cattleya called. They were already outside. Nasser turns around.
"Yes?", looking straight into her eyes.
"About the phone. Maybe I can have the full amount by next Monday. Hope that would be okay".,she said.
"What business do you have with Madi?", too late to take back the words. He regret that he had asked. Jealous boyfriend?
"I swear nothing.", is he mad?
He gets something in his wallet. And handed a small card to her.
"Call me when you're ready to pay", he said casually.
"I don't have a phone Mr. Mallik"., but she still take it.
He sigh.
"I may not be around this next few weeks. I'll be busy.", he was pissed. How can she not have a cellphone?
He took something from his pocket. And scanning for a while.
"Here take this. I believe you know how to use this. Long press the number 1, and it will automatically reach me.", he said hoping she'll take it. It is his phone. He never let anyone touches it. Only a few knew his number. Only the closest.
"It's okay, maybe I'll just borrow some phone here.",
"Take it, just give it back when we are done."Goddam take it Cattleya.
Though she's hesitant, she just takes it. It will be returned once she had paid him.
"O-okay",
"I'll just get the charger in the car", his heart lurched. If Madi got her player that he don't even know what is that thing, well she got his phone. Am I competing for her..?
