Eric had stayed in his parents house for the mean time for Felicity.Matilda went to Canada back for her work.She's a surgeon same as him.Felicity seems enjoying his parents company.She's an intelligent and sweet girl.Eric believed that he and Cattleya are meant to be friends.He's glad he don't pursue her.He don't want to lose the friendship that they have now.Pursuing her might end up to awkwardness.And he can feel that she's into Nasser.Remembering how she reacted as he teased her made him laugh.Now he don't know what is Cattleya to Nasser.He had witnessed how protective and caring he is to her but he's with Bel.
"What are you thinking Eric?"
"I'm thinking about the painting Cattleya left in the apartment", he saw Nasser scowled.They were having lunch.And he need to ask his opinion about the painting.
"S-she left it?"
"Yeah.I paid the owner of the apartment for a week til you can decide what to do with it", Eric try not to mock Nasser by his disgusted reaction."And she didn't take this", as he give back Nasser the phone.Nasser seems bothered.A face from a layered of rejections.
"Just leave it there.I'll just pay the apartment", he had said.Eric studied his face.
"How's you and Bel?"
"Ayessa invited her over dinner in the house tonight.", Eric chuckled which confused Nasser.
They were having coffee now after their lunch.
"What?"
"I ask you how you and Bel.You're not responding well".
"We will be okay, maybe.I'll sort things out with her tonight.", he's again determined to give him and Bel a chance.He'll try this time to be away from Catt.Everyone around him except his cousins and friends, keep telling that Belinda is a gem to him.She has everything for him.Grace, beauty and intellect.Now he's thinking for a chance with her .Ayessa already arranged a dinner in their house for Bel and her family, Arcivals family, Madi's family, and Matthew is included too.
"So you are really pursuing her?",
"Y-yeah.", then sip his coffee."How about you Eric, how are you and Catt?"
"Everything changes when Felicity arrived.I think I'll give myself a chance to be her father first.Cattleya understands.And I know I can never have her heart", Eric said while staring at Nasser.
"What do you mean by that?" Nasser wondered.Eric stood.
"I think I'm going now Nass.Here's the key to her old apartment.", handing him the key.They both went to their parked car.
"Goodluck.And I hope every decisions you'll make will lead you to your true happiness."Eric patted Nass shoulder.The latter just nodded.
Eric felt bad for Catt.He believed that Nass is her reasons of transferring a job and a place.Thinking maybe she wanted to forget him.
Whole day of working didn't stop Cattleya from thinking of Nass.She already miss him.
"Are you okay?", as they were having their lunch break.
"Y-yeah.", she force a smile.Leslie just shrug.She already got used of Cattleyas attitude.
