"Thanks for the lunch, and...for the clothes I guess", with brows raised and mouth twitch.
"..won't you invite me in?", he was looking at her.They were still outside her apartment.
"For what?",she asked faking a look of wondering why have to invite him.
He chuckled.
"I just got a feeling that you want my company still..am I wrong?", trying to look serious.
She scowled.
"Conceited", she muttered then turn away and keying the door.
"C'mon don't be shy, blurt it", he was teasing.
She face him.
"Blurt it what?Mr. Mallik, you can go if you want, these days companies are overflowing and.."he cut her as he push the door and enter hastily.He even bumped her in her shoulder.
"You have cola?", he asked while sitting comfortably in her couch.She closed the door.
"Look for your self in the fridge.", she went to her room to put all the bags of clothes he had bought.When she's back he had already the cola.He was scanning DVD discs.
"Seriously?, dragons, cats, ..don't you have any human movies here?", he asked while looking at her in the couch.
"Nope.I'm tightening my budget these days.So, no new movie discs".
He sit back in the couch.They're sitting both ends.
"Audrey's parents will celebrate their wedding anniversary tomorrow.They'll be having dinner", he said without looking at her.
"Do I have to know?Cause I don't think I'll be invited.", she look at him.
"I can bring you", fine..I have to invite her first before Eric will do.
She give him a puzzled look.
"Are you sure?or you just gonna use me as a bait to your lovely lady.Cause I'm really sure she'll gonna swallowed me whole.", she smirk.
"Not if you keep close to me, I guess.You don't like her are you?"
"No.Its the other way around"., she said folding her arms against her chest.
He just looked at her disgusted face.
"I see." he nodded and chuckles.
They were silence for a while.
"Eric wants to invite you for tomorrow", he said.
"Oh, really.."
"You'll go?"
"It depends if how he'll invite me", she was teasing him.He glared at her.
"Okay".
"Okay, what?", wondring what he meant.
He stood.
"Your coming with me tomorrow.", he went directly to the door.
"Have you invited me?", following him to the door.
"Yes, I just did.Haven't you heard?", he's a bit annoyed now.
"I haven't said yes, have you heard?"
"Then locked your self here until the next day", he slammed the door of his car.She could see his face flared with anger.She try hard to resist to laugh.
"But I'm sure there'll be someone come knock on my door".
He come out again.Glaring at her.
"Catt please stop annoying me", he close his eyes and look back at her.
"I wish I did, but I don't", with her fake innocent look.
"You'll come with me tomorrow or locked yourself up.Or I will wreck anyone's neck I'll see at your door."he smiled with sarcasm.
She was stunned with everything he had said.Hot and cold.

"Oh, I'm going crazy now", as she face the painting."What are you thinking Mallik?", as she trace his face slowly.She was startled as the phone rings.
"Hey,", she heard from the other line.
"Yes, who's this?", it only displays the number.
"Eric".
He was just guessing if she had the phone still.
"Oh Eric, y-you are looking f-for him?" she was stammering.This is the problem of having someone else's phone.
"No.It's you", he seems amused hearing her.
"Okay, checking my condition?".
"Not really.Just wanna ask if you'll be free tomorrow night?"
Is this what Mr. Mallik talking about?
"Why?"
"Audrey's parents wedding anniversary, thinking if I could bring you along".
"Why me?", she really wanna know.Wondering why these people are liking to have her company.They are rich, professionals and charming.
She heard a soft laugh.
"Did you also ask that same thing with Nasser?"
She was quiet then.Don't know what to say.
"Catt, I'll pick you up tomorrow night?", he continued.
Oh, I don't think its a good idea him in my door step.Thinking about Nasser's words for someone who'll knock on her door.Though, she doubted that he'll ever do that such thing.
"Catt?", she heard him.
"Oh Eric, s-sorry but I think I'm going with Mr. Mallik", she quickly say.
"Oh really..He's been there?"
"Y-yeah."
"Is he your boyfriend now?"

She heard him softly laugh.
"He didn't court you yet?"

"Catt, can I come over for dinner?", Eric continued.
"You don't have a work?", looks like they're enjoying my place.
"I have a two-hour today."
"Do you really have to be here?Why not to the Malliks or Jam?"
"Quiet far..you don't like?will someone get mad?", Eric asked, wondering if Nasser forbid her to take visitors.
"N-no its okay.", she hope this'll be the last.

"Why the world is so friendly today?", she muttered with a sigh.
She busied her self from cleaning.And after an hour she bathe.
Then file her clothes.And tidied her room.She heard a knock.She look at clock.Its past five.
Bit shocked as she opened the door.
"I think I need your company this time.", then he get inside without invitation.And sitted at the couch.
"Let's go have dinner", he wasn't asking.Before Cattleya could answer she heard another knock.
"Did you expect someone today?", he looks quiet irritated.
"The wrecking neck doesn't start today, right?"., she open the door before he could talked.And there is Eric.He looks so tidy with his white shirt and dark blue jeans.
"Hey Nass, I just saw your car outside", he entered.
"And still you're here", he muttered.He sigh.Glad no one hears him.
