Mia's POV

"Hey Chipmunk!" Daniel said as I walked out my door.

"Hey Tarzan." I said, I was walking to school. Daniel lives a couple blocks away from me.

"So, you ready for school?"

"Uh yeah. I planned it all out, I have Advanced Chem, Advanced Algebra, Advanced History-" I looked at him, I know exactly what he was thinking "Yeah, I got it. You like Advanced classes"

"-And Then I'm gonna try out for the school's cheerleading squad."

"Really?"

"No. It was a joke. Come On Daniel, you didn't really think I was going to tryout to become one of those preppy, bossy mean wannabees?"

"No I didn't I just thought that-"

"That since it's our last year in high school I would be involved in some non academic after school activities."

"Yeah, I mean for the past what? 11 years? All of your after school activities involved school. The Math Club, Science Club, the Poetry Club, The Nerd Club-"

"We're not nerds!" I said looking at him. "Ok maybe we are but that doesn't mean you can call us that." I added

"I'm not. That club literally means Nerd club."

"NO, It's called the Nucleic Exchange Research & Development Club."

"Or the Nerd club."

"Nuh-uh. Or the N.E.R.D. Club. There's a difference."

"Sure there is. But seriously."

"Ok fine, I'll find something."

"That's the spirit!Maybe you could try-" he said.

"No. I'm not going back there. NOt now, not ever!" I yelled.

"Ok jeez, sorry Mia."

"Iridium High." I said after I sighed because we were in front of the school.

"Senior Year, here we come." he said walking as I just stood there.

"Mia? You coming?"

"You, uh Go ahead."

"You sure?" he asked as I nodded. "Ok. See you at lunch?" he said

"Ok." I said before he walked away.

"Here we go." I said taking a deep breath then I walked in.
