A train station, 1943
"I have do do this, you know that. I have to find out what I can do, what all of this means. Farewell" She tells him. Tears in her eyes the dark haired woman turned around and went towards the train that would bring her away. She had almost reached it when she decided there was one thing she needed to do before going. So the young officer turned around and ran towards him. "Bucky. Wait" She called out and he did. Then she reached him and before he could say anything else had sealed his lips with hers. When she let go of him she went back to the train. "I will wait for you." He called after her. "I will wait and if it takes a hundred years Alex!"
Three months later
She was here again. She was back. She exited the train joyous to see him again. About to run into his arms she saw it. He wasn't there. "Bucky?" The dark haired woman asked, hoping it was all just a bad joke. Nothing. "Buck?" She called out again, more desperate this time. Lost the Scottish stood there on the platform, all around her happy couples reuniting. Suddenly she spotted a familiar face in the crowd. Steve. When he reached her she greeted him before asking: "Where's Bucky?" "He's... indisposed." She knew Steve lied. He had never been able to lie to her when he looked her in the eye. "Steven Rogers, where. Is. Bucky?" She growled. The Captain sighed. With sad eyes he then told her: "He fell. Shortly after you left." In that moment her world broke and her body shut down.

With a jolt she woke up. Again she had dreamed of those days. Of course. What else. It wasn't like she had much of a life to remember. The last seventy years she had spent comatose. It knocked at her door. Wondering who that could possibly be, at this time and anyway, she brushed back her dark curls and took her handgun. It might be a new model but that didn't change that she was quite good at shooting. Slowly she opened the door. There stood a young woman, around her physical age probably. "Officer MacDougall, I'm Agent Zoey Carter from SHIELD"
