10-Help from a friend

Robin has been taking daily lessons from Cora for a week now. It was difficult at first, since he couldn't find the motivation to do it, but then in the thought of helping Regina, he got better and better every day.

He didn't, however, know how to ask Cora about the mirror. She didn't seem very talkative. I have to go there myself when she's asleep or somewhere else. Maybe Zelena could help me. She's against her mother after all. That was it. He decided to tell her this afternoon, when he would visit her.

It wad a normal thing he did. She really liked him and he need company in this huge castle. But he had to be careful not to give her rights on coming closer. They just talked. He was focused on finding Regina at the time being.

"Hello, milady. How are you today?", Robin asked.

"Better now that you asked. What about you?", Zelena said.

"Fine. Just fine. Do you want to go on a walk or something?", he suggested.

"I'm the one who normally asks that, but yes, I'd love that", she said and stood up.

"After you", he offered moving to the side for her to pass.

"Thank you."

They went ti the gardens and after a small walk he sat on a bench and waved for her to join him. It was the right time to ask her.

"Zelena, I want to tell you something. However, I know how close you are to your mother and I don't want her to know anything about it. Okay?", he hesitantly started.

"You have my word. And things are not as good as you think between me and her. I quite hate her.", she assured him.

"Now that's a tough word. She's your mother."

"Yeah, nevermind. Get to your point, Robin."

He took a deep breath and said it all at once.

"Look, there is a girl I know in this land. And I think she is in great danger. So, I care about her and I want to help her. You might not know her, but you'll like her once you meet her."

"And why are you telling me that? How can I help?"

"I don't know where she is and this land is huge. Listen, one time I happened to visit your mother when she was looking at her mirror and I saw her in there. I'm sure it's her, I would recognise her anywhere. But I don't know the trick to look at that mirror again. That's where I need your help. We need to go to your mothers quarters and you get that mirror to work, so I find her and then I can go help her", je said as he released that breath he was holding.

Zelena sighed.
"I don't know. It's difficult what you ask-"

"It's okay, I understand if you don't want to do this", he interrupted.

"No, let me finish. I want to help you and I do know the spell, but my mother never leaves that room unprotected. If the door isn't shielded with blood, I can undo any other spell. But still we have to be very careful."

"Yeah, we will. Thank you, Zelena. Thank you so much. You can't imagine how grateful I am."

"It's nothing. I'm The Good Witch, remember? I'll find out when my mother leaves her room and I'll let you know."

"Okay, thanks again. You truly are good.", he said and stood up to leave, but she stopped him.

"Robin-"

"Yes, milady?"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Anything"

"Who's that girl you want to save?"

"A friend. A good friend. I think she came here the same way I did, but she doesn't know anything about this land. She definitely needs my help."

"Ahh, I see. Now we can go", she said and grabbed his arm to walk with him back to the castle.

I haven't updated in ages, so sorry. I kinda have a writer's block or whatever you call it, so this story will be on hold till I come back from holidays which is in one week. Hope more people read it till then. All the love
