When dusk does fall,
I fade to grey
And stay like that
'Till he invades
And shuns the Night
And she does cry,
Claws at the mountains:
Refuse to die.
When light does fail,
I fade to grey
Nothingness envelopes
My heart's disarray
And then I become
One with the haze;
A strange dark creature
Who loathes the blaze.
When Night does come
I fade to grey,
Feel naught but naught
But fear the day
And with the moon,
We'll dance away
To endless darkness:
Fade to grey.
