VIOLIN'S POV-

I was walking with my friends to school and as we walked inside I could feel eyes all over me. I gulped a little as my friends and I went to our lockers. I stood at my locker next to Danny and heard people whispering about me. I looked down and let my hair cover my face a bit before I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up and met the gaze of my blonde friend.

"Don't worry about what everyone else thinks. They're just scared of how awesome you are," he told me.

"Thank you," I told him back. He gave me a quick hug and went to his class. I closed my locker and walked to science where I took my seat next to Trunks as always.

"How are you taking this," he asked.

"Meh. Half and half. The better question should be, why do you have bandages on your hand?"

"Someone was talking a loud of bull about you and Piccolo this morning outside so I punched the wall beside their head and told them off."

"Aww! I always knew behind that cold exterior was a heart of lilac!"

"Lilac??"

"Because of your hair. Duh."

"Shut up. I defended you. The least you could do is be nice."

"Okay. Okay. Who was talking about me?"

"That would be Samantha's new boyfriend."

"How did she manage to get a boyfriend??"

"The same way you did. Injuries. But her's were fake."

"Wait. How'd you know I have a boyfriend?"

"Because I was just guessing."

"Dang it! You're too sly!"

"Yep. So... Dende?"

"Yeah." I blushed a little bit and looked at my text book.

"Don't worry. Secret's safe with me."

"Thank you." Class started and the teacher kept giving me odd looks before someone walked into class.

"Ah, Mrs. Briefs. Thank you for coming in to talk to the class today," our teacher said with a smile. Trunks and I gave each other a look before turning our heads to the door. Where sure enough, Bulma was there.

"No problem." My lavender haired friend and I hid our faces and ducked down a bit, but to no avail. "Huh? Trunks? Violin? What a coincidence!" We slowly turned to the bluenette before smiling.

"Hi Mom."

"Hi Bulma."

"So I get to talk to your class, huh? This should be fun since some of the examples use the two of you." My eyes widened and Trunks was trying not to scream and everyone else was staring in shock.

"Anyways... Mrs. Briefs is here today to talk about her company and some of the activities that take place in the lab. So with a respectful greeting, please welcome Miss Bulma Briefs."

"Hello everyone. So I know most if not all of you know what Capsule Corporation is so that'll make this a bit easier. My father and I both have a strong hold on science which has made us a very successful company. Some of the things we do have been seen not only in the country, but all over the Galaxy."

"Like Violin's family," someone said from the back. I closed my eyes and took a breath before looking at my textbook below me.

"A- anyways... Does anyone know some of the stuff we do at Capsule Corp?"

"Travel size things you can't usually carry around?"

"Correct. That's something we do. But we don't just stop there. We've built hover cars, devices to track the unknown, and we've even been to planets not know to astronomers."

"Like Violin's home planet," another person from the back said to which most of the class laughed. I closed my eyes trying to fight back the tears and Trunks put a hand on my shoulder.

"Alright! That's enough! Violin may not have the same parents you do but she's still a student here and we have a guest! Behave," our teacher warned.

"But Teach! She's a freak! Just look at this photo of her home life," someone else said.

"Yeah! I don't see why she even goes to this school. If her family doesn't know our customs than why should she?"

"Yeah! Besides, look at how scary this guy looks! Here's the picture to prove it!"

"Stop it," I shouted while covering my ears with my fists.

"Why should we freak?"

"Yeah! Go back to the space pod you grew out of!"

"Nobody wants you here so just leave!"

"I said, STOP," I exploded and broke the shared table of Trunks and I in half with one punch. I was trying my best not to do anything else as my hair covered my face.

"Jeez! What's her problem?"

"Yeah it isn't like we did anything wrong."

"I bet that Trunks kid is scared out of his mind enough already. Now he's probably about to pass out from shock."

"That's it," Trunks said as he stood up. "I've had enough! You mess with my friend, you mess with me and you don't wanna mess with me. Violin has been my friend since we were children. She's always had a good heart even though she never knew who her real parents were. She was raised by a good guy and brought up with a good enough lifestyle. Stop putting her down just because her family life is a bit different than yours. Because when it comes down to it, she's no different than you or me. And even if she was, it would only be because she's a better person than ANYONE in this school!"

I stared at Trunks in disbelief as everyone else looked in shock. He turned around and sat back in his seat before looking ahead back to his mother who was smiling proudly. All was quiet before the bell rang to switch classes and everyone left as quick as possible.

"Looks like I won't get to finish my speech, but I liked your's better Trunks," Bulma said as she walked over to us and hugged her son.

"Yeah me too," I said with a smile.

"No problem," Trunks said as he scratched his cheek with his finger. Bulma and I laughed a bit before Trunks and I left to go to our next classes.

~MINI TIME SKIP~

BULMA'S POV-

I can't believe what happened today with Violin. I didn't know things were this bad. Sure Trunks told me about what happened yesterday, but this is unbelievable. I was lucky the science teacher didn't have a class for me to speak to during seventh period, because I hurried to my hover car I rode to the school in today and flew to the lookout quickly. I have to tell Piccolo what happened.

How about this one because I saw it and thought it was cute but cruel.

Cell: *shoots the beam at (future) Trunks that ends up killing him* Oh Vegeta, you might need a sowing machine.

Vegeta: Why?

Cell: Because it looks like you have a hole in your Trunks. *evil laughter*

I'm sorry. I had to. It was too good. Lol. Later!
