GOTEN'S POV-

I was fighting with Turles who had just made a crater out of Violin. We both stopped fighting for a second and I saw him look down at our friends. Scratch that. He was looking at my niece. I saw Julia run towards her but he already shot a ki blast. I was about to get them away when a figure jumped in front of them. Not just any figure either.

It was Violin.

She jumped in front of the blast and was soon on the ground again with blood pooling around her. I was heartbroken to see one of my best friend's like that and snapped. I rammed full attacks at Tutles who was laughing at the fact Violin was "stupid" enough to protect her friends at the cost of her own life.

I was at least at Super Saiyan 2 when I sent the final blast that finished him off. I rushed to the others below who were crying around Violin's limp body. I knew she wasn't dead yet but her power levels were dropping drastically. I picked her up and gave Julia my brother's address to take Pan home before rushing to the lookout.

I was flying for about five minutes and her power levels were just getting weaker. I increased my speed a bit more (of that was even possible) and soon saw the lookout along with two tall figures talking together.

"Piccolo! Help!" He noticed who I was carrying and I saw something in his eyes change. I landed and Dende rushed over to help while Piccolo was frozen.

"How-" he managed to get out before tripping on his words.

"We were fighting a Saiyan named Turles and he was about to attack Pan and Julia, but before he could, Violin jumped in front of the blast to save them."

"This looks bad. We need to get her to her room and cleaned up quickly. Mr. Popo, send a bowl of water and some cloths to Violins room. Goten, help me get her to her room please," Dende was finished looking her over and I helped take her to her room.

PICCOLO'S POV-

How could I let this happen? I knew I shouldn't have let her go out. No. My daughter is a hero. If not for her, her best friend and Gohan's daughter would be dead. Besides, I've trained her to be tough. She won't die. She can't die.

Oh Kami, please help her.

I noticed another presence suddenly appear and saw Goku rush towards me. Apparently, he was visiting with Gohan when Julia brought Pan home and told them what happened so he rushed over with some sensu beans to help her out a bit. I nodded and he told me a few words I need to hear.

"It'll be okay Piccolo. She's strong. She won't give up without a fight."

"Thanks Goku. That actually means something right now," I said as I turned to go inside with the Saiyan man following behind me.

NO ONE'S POV-

Piccolo and Goku made it to Violin's room to see Dende wiping the last bit of blood away from her stomach. Violin's shirt was removed so she was laying in her pants and a black sports bra which almost everyone she knew had seen her in before when she trained. So nobody was really affected by the appearance of her attire as much as her injuries.

Dende had his hands on her stomach and everything was silent for a few moments before he told someone to give her a sensu bean. Goku tossed one to Goten who was sitting on her other side and he fed the small item to her. After Dende removed his hands, the five males (Popo was there too) watched for anything to happen.

Finally after five minutes they heard a gasp for air and some coughing as Violin stared to move her hands to her mouth. She opened her eyes and saw everyone before grinning slightly.

"What train did I jump in front of?" The males laughed as Violin noticed her appearance and looked to her right. "Hey Dende?"

"Hm?"

"Mind grabbing me a shirt?" Both blushes a bit before Dende walked to her closet and threw a t-shirt at her. "Thanks." She slipped on the shirt and winced just a bit before her eyes widened. "Pan! Julia! Goten-"

"They're fine. Everyone else is too. Julia took Pan home and my dad brought you a sensu bean so you'd start to feel better."

"Thank Kami. I was worried about them so much."

"Be more worried about yourself. You nearly gave me a heart attack," Piccolo told his daughter who just smiled at him.

"Love you too Dad," the girl said to which a few of them laughed. Pretty soon, the Saiyans went home, Piccolo went to meditate to ease his mind, Mr. Popo went to do whatever Popo's do, and Dende stayed to make sure Violin was really okay.

"Well, I'd say you can be back on your feet by at least tomorrow morning if that sensu bean finishes working its magic."

"Thanks Dende."

"You need to be more careful in the future. You jumped in front of a Saiyan's attack. Be a bit smarter in the future please."

"Why were you so worried? I know we're friends and you've known me my whole life, but still."

"I have my reasons."

"Tell me! If they concern me I have a right to know!"

"Not if I don't want you to." Dende laughed a bit as Violin pouted at him.

"If you don't tell me, I'll be forced to call you by your old nickname."

"You wouldn't dare."

"Oh wouldn't I? Cute Slug."

"No!" Dende covered his ears and Violin tried to remove his hands but as he moved around, she only succeeded in falling into Dende's lap.

The two stared into each other's eyes for a minute before slowly leaning forwards. Their lips lightly met and the two closed their eyes before Violin wrapped her arms around the Namekian's neck and he held onto her waist. They stayed like that for a few seconds before pulling away and looking at each other blushing mad colors of red and purple.

"Dende, I- I think I love you."

"I think I feel a mutual affection for you Violin." The two smiled before sharing another light kiss. They pulled away at the sound of Violin's phone.

"That's Julia's ringtone," the girl said before picking up here phone that revealed the contact name "Julia 😈❤️" and had an ugly picture of the two making weird faces. The black hair girl answered the phone and looked at Dende. "Hello?"

"VIOLIN! THANK GOODNESS YOU ARENT DEAD," she heard the voices of all of her friends, minus Maria, on the other end.

"First off, OW!! Secondly, thanks for the concerned tone Maria. And third, why would I be dead? I kick butt remember? That was pretty much nothing compared to this one fight I got into," Violin said as she recalled the fight where she died and the others had to use the dragonballs to bring her back.

"Whatever. You just better heal up quick," Danny said.

"Yeah, besides. We still have to prove to Samantha how awesome we are on Friday night," Austin said before there was a thump and and "ow Maria!" Violin chuckled lightly.

"Please tell me you're okay! I've been a wreck since you took that blast for Pan and me," Julia asked.

"I'm fine Julia. I should be back tomorrow so don't worry okay. Don't cry. Remember, you're an ugly crier." The green eyed girl heard the others laugh a bit as Julia simply chuckled.

"Whatever. Bye Viola! We'll see you tomorrow," they all said. Violin hung up and Dende started to leave.

"You have school tomorrow so I'll just let you sleep," he told her as he kissed her cheek lightly and left to finish his daily duties of being a guardian. Violin smiled before she carefully got ready for bed and fell asleep.
